I love when fans say that though like “ all you have to do is stop (insert whatever here) and you win. That goes for any team you play you have to shut down whatever is the strength of the other team to win. Doing it is the tricky part.

Yeah their QB can do it all! In that last game the kid threw fir 141 yards, rushed for 126 and even caught a freaking TD!!! BH D will have to pressure him all night. They love running that jet sweep then when you bite he keeps it and runs up the middle. D line will have to keep the gaps small and have a LB spy that. Our DB’s will have to play physical to get off the blocks in the edges.

I just hope the lights and glitter of NRG doesn’t distract what we are here for. I think though with Westerberg he has been there and done that, so he should be able to keep them focused. Should be a good game , but hope we come out hitting on all 8!

For the record I don’t think the Hornets will blow out Crosby. I just think Crosby will struggle against their Defense. I also think Crosby’s defense will slow but not stop the Hornets.

I’m rooting for Crosby, but there is a lot of delusional Crosby fans. 2 things Crosby don’t like is bad weather and getting punched in the mouth. Me thinks both could happen Saturday😆

No, BH showed up but Sterling had about 20 fans and their Band and Cheer didn’t showed up till half time. Felt bad for them, the BH crowd actually cheered Sterling when they took the field because they had nobody.

I also noticed that Whitehouse is on some what of a Cinderella season. They went to the playoffs like us last year and lost. They only returned 2 on Offense and 6 on Defense and were picked to place 5th in their district.Not sure if their QB was a surprise this year, but the videos I saw on him he looks pretty good. Anyway looking forward to a real playoff game since last week just didn’t have the feel of one. Hope Whitehouse travels well and we get NRG rocking!

I’m hoping for a Cougar win and plan to go to this one, but I think this may be the end of the road for Crosby. The Hornets just put an undefeated good Marshal team to bed and they are a well coached discipline team. Anything can happen with some breaks here and there, but I think the Hornets are at least a 14 point favorite in this one.

Good thing we are at NRG! Weather could be crap next weekend. Rain showing Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

Great win by the Eagles last night putting up 420 yards off offense and only allowing 115 yards on Defense! Now on to area which will be played at NRG Friday at 7:30 against a solid Whitehouse team. Looking at there highlights they are very similar to BH. They have a good dual threat QB that makes good decisions and runs out of the spread effectively supported by a good O line. They also have a good RB with break away speed that they run the jet sweep with quite a bit. It's hard to tell with just film, but I believe we are bigger and better in the trenches which should give BH the advantage. I also think we will be a bigger more physical team over all, but we will again have to play lights out defense because they are like us very versatile and have many ways to hurt you. Defensively Whitehouse is not bad, so this should be a great game to see. Whitehouse is 8-3 lost to Henderson 23-0 (1st game of the year), Melissa 36-14 (3rd game of the year) and Marshall in district 35-8 Had a lot of tight wins against Chapel Hill 46-39, Jacksonville 25-13, Nacogdoches 19-14, Lindale 43-36 & Hallsville 28-21 If BH plays a mistake free solid game I think the Eagles advance to round 3. Goodluck BH practice your butts off this week and lets keep rolling!

Great offense outburst by the Coogs last night, but giving up 560 yards and 6 scores is not good defense regardless of what 14.2 is trying to sell😂. Keep that offense churning as you will probably face the best defense you have played against next week. I don't think you will outscore the Hornets you will have to shut them down to win. Yeah BH was very physical last night. Several of there players avoided hits. I know once it was like 3rd and 6 for the raiders and the QB took off with a full head of steam. BH LB was coming to lay the wood at the 1st down marker and he decided to take a knee 2 yards short. We need that same intensity on Defense each game those boys played awesome last night! BH is not going to be an easy out.
