When a program is ran right, football or any of the high school sports teaches life lessons and provides entertainment for the community.

The rez was the first football field I ever stepped on as a player. I was in junior high and just couldn't get over how neat the grass was.

I have to agree Vidor's new unis are pretty tight, granted they have not christened them very well.

This year his team would probably be competitive, however, if they had to abide by UIL rules, they would not have some of the key players that they have this year. So, it's hard to say how they would fair in the years to come. No discredit intended to Coach Long or this years team. Go Dawgs!
