Great tradition, good crowd and great pics. Looking for good things from the Rebels this year.

Charlie was a great coach and had a great bunch of kids. However, a lot changes from Little League to High School. Vidor's Junior Program won STJFL Championships in 2000 ( 8-0 Junior), 2001 (10-0 Senior) & 2002 (10-1 Senior) and look at their High School Program. Communities are lucky to have people like Charlie to step up and coach their kids.

Home fans should sit on the home side and visitors on the visitors side, unless there is not enough room or if you know someone on the other side and want to visit them, that's different, but for the most part I think it is better if fans sit on their respective sides.

BS was outstanding and Evadale while not a very good team at this point, had their worst game of the year. Congrats to BS on the win and the Rebels just need to keep working.

They were listed in the Beaumont Enterprise on the Sunday when the Super Gold Team was listed.

Have any of y'all seen the District 24-1A All District Selections? If so how about getting them posted on here.

I bet Rooster could turn things around there.

Kind of hard to say what seniors could help them, since most of them quit after their freshman & sophomore years.

District starts Friday December 14 with Evadale at West Hardin.

Three Questions: 1. How many freshman were on Vidor's playoff teams? 2. What is Vidors record since they started playing freshmen on varsity? 3. Where is English now? P.S. I have nothing against the players that were promoted or Coach English. Just stating why Vidor never seems to have senior leadership.

Nothing is wrong, they like to promote under classmen over upper classmen. Therefore, the upper classmen leave and the under classmen never seem to quite live up to the expectations. Same thing with the football program. A lack of loyalty to the upper classmen.

If they polish their TEAM skills, they may become a team to reckon with, but until that happens they will just be a group of decent individuals.

Should be Deweyville defeated HF not Evadale.
