  1. Both of the above are great examples, however, teams can also play to tight, afraid to make a mistake, which unfortunately leads to more mistakes. Sometimes players feel so much pressure not to make mistakes, they forget to play the game, which leads to more mistakes, i.e. false starts, offsides, missed tackles. High School football while a business to the coaches and more serious than that to us as fans, is supposed to fun for the players.

  3. Trust me, I've seen both. Legacy wants no part of Kelly.
  4. Oh, Lumberton will not have a problem with Vidor, after all, the seniors on this team have not lost to Vidor since 7th grade.
  5. 19-5 missed on Dayton New Caney Legacy Newton High Island
  6. The 2002 Ennis team ran it pretty well, of course now their QB runs it for Texas Tech.
  7. First thing the back you are referencing did not have 800 yards rushing last year, as a matter of fact he probably didn't have 800 all purpose yards. I'm not sure where you got your stats but they are WRONG. He is supposed to be one of the better athletes on the team, but he has yet to step up.
  8. Vidor has an excellent QB in Franklin and if he were quarterbacking anywhere else, i.e., on a team with quality WR's and a line that offered protection everyone would know who he was, but as it is, he simply does the best he can with the hand he has been dealt. No, I'm not kin to him, but let's just say I have watched him play most of his life and I know first hand what he is capable of. As far as the Vidor receivers go, lets just say Vidor put all of their eggs in one basket and that basket moved out of state and no one else has stepped up yet. #10 may get his chance to QB next year he looked good his freshman year, but was moved to LB his sophomore year and has not took many snaps since, so who knows who the QB will be next year.

  11. I have not seen WH but I have seen Kountze and unless WH is big or have a lot of depth, they will be in for a long night. The Howard Bros are good for 4-5 yards a carry (however, neither secure the ball very well) and once you bring 8 into the box to try and stop them, then they will go over the top. Good Luck to both teams.
  12. My favorite play is when my team is leading and the QB takes a knee.
