We as fans should help LU bring in more people to the games. I always drag a few extras with me and I already have a few recruits agreeing to a women's game. Like Larry and Roc, we should recruit also.

I think Switzer is the best and is within possible of getting him. He looked healthy and strong on tv the other day. I don't think he has the fire, but a few young assistants will. Barry could coach for 3 years to get the program going and get the better recruits.

These guys were accurate last year. This year I think they underestimate the backcourt. B+ is my opinion.

I love our local coaches and I think they all could be successful college coaches. However LU needs a big name to land big recruits to win early. LU will have huge fan support in the first 2-3 years. If the team is not winning after 3 seasons, it's over. So LU needs someone huge.... 1. Jimmy Johnson....I know, a miracle couldn't bring him here. 2. Barry Switzer.. 3. Slocum.. 4. Applewhite..

UTSA will be better than the 7-22 last year, but I can't see them at the LU/SHSU level.

We all are dying for some news, however lets bite the bottom lip, take a breath, and talk basketball. We don't want to hurt any plans LU has for football. We all heard the rumors, I want more, but not at the expense of screwing up the plan.

It might be possible a coach search is already happening or maybe a coach is already picked. Maybe the assistant is already picked too. It's possible.

Ok, look at it this way. Take our regional 5 state area. We have 2 of our powers playing in the SEC. UT, A&M, Tech playing in the Big 12. Our Largest MSA power is in the MWC. Our second largest MSA area in CUSA. San Antonio market the Southland. All spread out. Divided schools, divided tv audience, divided money. Imagine if we combine those schools, markets, tv audience under 1 conference roof.
