Under normal conditions you may be right, but the next few years will be nothing close to normal. I'm hearing Beaumont might be getting a new downtown high-rise.

Yesterday was a great day for this area. This area will change for the better over the next 5 years. The only poop, WOS voters voted down artifical turf for their stadium. As much success those kids have on the field, I think they deserved it. -
Since they weren't winning, why not play everyone.

Brooks had support....Any remember that game Lamar played LSU and Shaq.

Sounded like Dawkins is all that and more. Hopkins struggled, i'm sure he was rusty.

Dawkins is the man.... I missed the game, but caught in on the radio. Someone who saw it correct me, but it sounded as if they were rusty. On the other hand, IC will be very good at their division level. S

HOT TOPIC: Who Would You Want As The Next LU Football Coach?
UNLV replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Yep, Baylor is very happy being the big 12 pass around... TCU, I don't know. Air Force may go Independent, WAC and MWC could lose members causing them to merge. TCU would be stuck out of place. So maybe TCU, although they won't be happy about it. -

If LU stays FCS, It wouldn't matter who coached LU. Rumor already have UTSA and New Mexico st as the first 2 members of the Southwest Conference. -

[quote author=abovetherim link=topic=26892.msg268796#msg268796 date=119388388 Believe me, or not it doesn't matter. McNeese State is a DI (FCS) power and in Lake Charles game-days are events not just games. Plus, with your thought process Coach Tidwell made a major mistake leaving TCU for little ole Lamar. It's about getting an opportunity. Yes someone, somewhere would love the chance to coach a Lamar University football team. I realize you do not think football is a great idea for Lamar and I very much appreciate your opinion. I just don't share it. Best of luck to whatever school you graduated from or follow. -
