They know Lamar is about to cast a big shadow over SHSU. Lamar Football and the economic growth in the next +5 years will prove very positive to each other. New people moving to this area will become LU fans just to feel part of the community. Katfans aren't stupid, they know what is coming....

lol...right on. Many schools have football plans for 08, 09, 10, 11. The whole country will feel the diluting. This favors LU since we will be playing catch-up.

This is not a slc championship team. My patience with Roc is wearing thin. With the current talent, we should have won by 20. We have no inside game. We can't win with guards shooting only 3's. What good is Custer if he can't take JD's place. No defense, Guards can't shoot on their home court, inside players timid, Coaches seem confused. Wyoming is ranked 230. I expect LU will drop to around 300. Remeber that for those who think I am being too harsh.

This was a top SEC power...However no excuse for bad shooting and awful defense. But it did expose LU weakness so Roc can focus on them.

I think Todd has 8... We are getting killed on the inside. No defense or no rebounds. We are gving too many offensive rebounds. Then the turnovers....It's like LU is nervous or scared... We need another player with JD size.

Keep in mind 1 year ago I would have answered differently vs tonight. 2 years ago different than 1 year ago. CUSA will lose half it's teams. CUSA might merge with Sunbelt and a new name. Sunbelt USA maybe. FCS teams like Georgia Southern will join, maybe App st, etc...The geographic center will shift east. CUSA west teams will join the SWC. La tech joins the SWC. Now I hear talk of UT, aggies, and OU flirting with the SEC. I think LU will end up in a conference with UNT, Tech, Tulsa, Rice, SMU... UH will get a BCS call up....Big 12. SHSU will drop to DIII.....just in case Terror is creeping around this forum.

Wouldn't it help for LU to start talking about it in public. Talk about some plans, stadium renovations, student growth, softball, swimming, new homecoming events, etc etc.... Getting SETX involved will galvanize the community and student body.

LU needs to build a new stadium in a better location. LU should build a 25k stadium in a design that would allow for an expansion to 60-70 maybe 100k in the future... ;D.
