Then  you CHOSE to be heterosexual, just like I CHOSE to be heterosexual........you "can't imagine any straight person making a CHOICE to be ostracized by society, shunned by religion, and generally thought to be a lesser person" because THAT "straight" person made the CHOICE to be straight and so is not on the receiving end of any of those.......

    That probably WAS me.....:)...the courts views on religion are  diametrically opposite of what the founders intended......

The last statement in the article was very revealing:   From the article: "WSAZ pointed out that the atheist group did not have an issue with the school's mascot: a red devil."

The First Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

    The first amendment clearly states that the FREE EXERCISE OF RELIGION SHALL NOT BE PROHIBITED......this is a clear prohibition of the free exercise clause of that Amendment.......
