HCYA has been coming to the OF tournament for a few years now.  They usually have two teams and send their 2nd team to the OF Tournament.  Have not heard which team they are sending this year.

The 36th annual Orangefield Basketball Tournament has been renamed after long time Orangefield Girls Basketball Coach Bill Tennison.  Coach T was a big part of the Orangefield Community and will be missed.  After his retirement in 1999, he rarely missed a game.  There will be a dedication ceremony to honor Coach T before the girls game Thursday at 5:45.  Everyone is encouraged to attend. Also I will be at the tournament all three days and updating scores for both the girls and boys.

Man I'm feeling old now.  I remember when Austin was born.  Coach Stone was coaching at Orangefield and I was a senior.  The night he was born we beat Woodville in football 31-30.  I remember that because we did not win to many games that year. Congrats Austin and the entire Stone family!

Thursday - Silsbee/Huffman Friday - BC/Coldspring Saturday - Lamar
