The yellow mudcat are hard to find anymore for bait but will concentrate on perch for the ops. Just wanting some catfish talk.
My hubby got all of his trot lines out this past week and got everything ready.  He is going up the lake this weekend after the marathon to spend Spring Break with the guys fishing and doing 12 ounce curls.  He is going to live the high life and do little to nothing cept fish.
Be sure to give a report
I sure will.

Even a distant Lesbian would do if I get to go "fishing with the boys and 12-oz curls".......LOL
;D ;D ;D ;D  His friend did tell me if I wanted to drive up during the week to stay a few days I was more than welcome.  I told him hell no I was not going up there to be the cook or maid plus I had to work.  Let them have their fun while I go shopping and have dinner and drinks with friends here.

 7. We are training our 8 year old to be a runner since she loves it so much.  She is doing her first 5K in a couple of weeks.  She won't run the whole thing but I am sure she will run a bunch of it.

 10. Congrats to both winners.  What an awesome accomplishment.

It's been in the PA News. The turf company said it had offered to come by and evaluate the field, but that PN-GISD never got back to them about a time. Don't know if that's true or not and honestly kind of doubt it is. This has been an ongoing issue. There were complaints about the wear on the turf within a year of its installation. I heard someone say that it wasn't designed to stand up to the extreme weather conditions of SETX, but I don't remember who said it and I honestly don't believe that. We'll see what comes of it. Hopefully the result will be a new field.
OH my, PNG gonna loose this one.  Way too much video footage of that goofy-ars indian bouncing around in moccasins.  Someone just tell him to pick his feet up and quit shuffling on the turf.  Why you think they put saw dust on a dance floor?  Maybe get him some ballet shoes?  ;D ;D  Personally I think all cheerleaders need to be on the track where the men don't run over them.  ;)
Is that where you stood holding the water bottles and extra jock straps for the BH "one and done" Eagles?
That's understandable. I just happen to be in the situation where this son is my youngest one so I have nothing to keep me from going. I can't comprehend how there are some parents that don't show up until it's senior night, if they show up then. My son also plays AAU during the summer, we had a kid that had been on the team for years and his mother showed up for a meeting and the coach had to ask who she was. I know there are circumstances that prevent attending every game but at least make it to a couple.
I hear you there.  I have always tried to attend everything my children are in.  I am that mom with the picture of my child plastered on my shirt and wearing it proudly. I also know parents who never attend anything for their child and to me that is sad and I couldn't imagine not being their for my child.  Or like you said only coming for parent night so that your name is called out.  ::)

 21.
A little military service will make you appreciate the meaning of the National Anthem and what it represents. It bothers me more that people talk and goof around during the NA but most reflect what their parents do and if their parentsdon't correct them, it will eventually become meaningless.  How many kids know the sacrifice of what happened in Vietnam?  They become less and less because Veterans Day and Memorial Day are treated like any other holiday and some places treat them like another day of the week.  in our scool system the option is there to be in school on those holidays but not MLK Day.  Something is wrong with that picture.
My husband is a military veteran and we have ALWAYS attended the Veterans Day and Memorial Day services that are put on sometimes we attend both the morning one and the afternoon one with our children.  We have a glad flying out side of our home since the day we were married.  We have also taught our children to respect the flag and its meaning.

I don't understand what your saying?  I can't read between the lines here in all of this.
2 people can break the same rules, but get different  punishments
Whom else broke the rules and do you have proof?  If so then go to STJFL if not then it is only hearsay.
Proof .. doesn't matter when you own The House!
How can or why should we believe you if you don't tell us FACTS or provide PROOF?  You are the one that wants everyone to believe you so provide the proof or shut up.  I am sick of hearing all the whining.
One of the problem with decisions made by others is that the only proof, the only truth, resides with them.  You can't offer a proof, you can only speculate, which is what these varied threads have done.  I notice that many of those crying foul over other's specualtion are engaged in it as well.  It's hard to truly put it to rest when only the minutes of that particular meeting can put it all to rest. So where does that leave the kids?  As far as PA goes, there might be some competition out there available...there is more specualtion of other cities in STJFL pulling out.  Contact them...initiate talks NOW, because you need the time to set everything up.  Leave STJFL and their politics. As far as parents go...EVERY city and league have their idiots...it's not a area or regional thing.  Keep those folks on a short leash...seriously.  It becomes about them and not the kids. As far as "strategic drafting" and "stacking"...both are methods by which a coach gets an edge over another team.  The big difference is that stacking is immediate, and strategic develops over time.  What happens is that the team that has been together for a long time, becomes the pre-eminent team 2-3 years later.  The aren't stacked that year, they "grew" into the stacking.  Both should be against the rules.  Draft a kid, and let the reality of "this kid or that kid" come into play.  Have more than one team, but the caution is...you can't have a team of 14-15 kids...you will end up forfeiting half of your games, because 5 or 6 "little Billys" catch the flu.  Let the good kids learn to play with, and at times, inspire the kids that aren't so good.  We never know what these kids will do in the future.  No one does.  A coach is there to mentor, to teach, and to learn...not just send in plays...
Awesome statement if only ALL coaches from peewee up to high school took it to heart.
