    If I thought my boys were scared of ya'll and also thought they had something to be scared of I wouldn't go and prove them right.  ??? I wanted to scrimmage ya'll because we had already been everywhere else including Silsbee and ran out of teams to play ;D Now we covered all the reasons we wanted to play ya'll lets move on to why ya'll didn't want to play us. I talked to the other teams and got our field all scheduled for Thursday.  ;D I even got permission to turn on the lights so it will be just like Friday night... only different.  ;D  ;D

    What your kids gone do when we hit them in the mouth early and often? Trust me i know what to do when I'm in a dog fight what about you! One thing i know for sure is our kids got battle tested from the first day of practice. U can ask any team we face that u play this year and they will tell u that we are more psychical than Lumberton White. This week we're worried about BC and than I'll worry about Lumberton Jr. White. Until then keep watching film and tell me how to stop this one dimensional offense. ;D :D :o  ???

    OK I've heard enough  8) Trust me the clock will tick nice and normal if and when we meet  ;D I don't have to ask any team about how physical WOS White is because I have offered to meet you guys twice in the past and been turned down both times. Once in week 2 for a scrimmage and again when you had a bye in week 6 we offered to come play a 2:00 game right after our 10:30 game with PNG Purple... we never got an answer on either one.  >:(

    I'm sure the reply is going to be that yall will play us anytime, so why don't we set it up for Thursday before we go get some wings  ;D  ;D Only thing is we already offered to come to you so now it's your turn to come to us  ;)

    I'm not counting chickens... I'm not even counting eggs yet :) It's a big day for Us and WOS Blue tomorrow and I know bigworm's gonna be up to something. :-\  Either way I'm in for more wings next week because that was fun ;D

    The playoff qualifications are probably not put together well on the website and it will be fixed to explain the process better, but the rules used to seed teams have been the same for several years. Ironically the rules that are placing Nederland in a wildcard spot this year are the same rules that gave a division spot to the Nederland Gold team last year and put Lumberton White in a wildcard spot with a 7-1 record.

    The rules are not perfect and have to be modified on a constant basis to maintain fairness in every scenario. But keep in mind that the issue here is in the clarification of the rules on the website and not the rules themselves. The most important thing to note is that the STJFL is not intentionally picking on any specific team or association with how they seed or even when and where thay play.

    They are the first Wednesday of every month at 6pm the only thing that changes is the place and if you want you can call me and I will let you know where it is.  As for the rest of the meetings they are usually on the calander, I just looked and they are not at this time we will have to get that updated.  But you can always call me and I will be glad to give you the info.

    Is there anyway that they can be put on the website. That would be much easier than having to call someone each month and finding out where the meeting is and/or if it got changed?

    We will start putting the meetings on the calendar

    That's it. Let's get the noise started! This board has been too quiet. WO-S white over PNG Purple in the bowl! U heard it here first!!

    Your probably right... Lumberton White is falling apart!  It doesn't look like we'll even make the playoffs this year. I'd forget about Lumberton and start paying attention to WOS.  8)

    Teamraider: how did you get your game professionally recorded?  That is soo neat!

    One of our coaches knows a guy that does it for us. We have used him the past few years and he does a good job with coverage on a DVD. We had enough parents commit to purchase to make it worth it for him to show up for most of our games.

    I know another guy that used to film some of our games and was reasonable. I think he used to charge $150 per game so it was 10 people at 15 bucks. If your interested I could get his number for you.

    I can't help but notice that the moderators cleaned the posts up a little. I have to say that I am going to miss the humor NewIndian and SportNut bring to the day so don't censor them out completely. They are like the Archie Bunkers of this site... You don't agree with much of what they say but you don't want to see their shows get cancelled either.

    I had a good talk with DL after the game. He is a lifelong friend and  I am also a coach for PNGYFA. Personally, I wish people associated with our league WOULD NOT get on this site and run their mouths about YOUTH FOOTBALL, especially if you are on the sidelines and involved in the game. I can assure you that DL made no excuses for the loss on Saturday other than that you guys are better at this point. Please don't let the one OUTSPOKEN person on these boards influence your feelings toward our association. We definitely took our lumps as a whole last weekend. We will get it straightened out. Good luck to all of you over in Lumberton. You have some strong teams top to bottom.

    I don’t know DL well, but we’ve had several games over the past couple of years and know he wouldn’t think I’m accusing him of anything. He’s always been a standup guy that takes his losses just like he takes his wins… A smile a firm handshake and “Good Game†is what you get and believe me I’ve been on both ends several times.

    There are some on this site that can’t keep their opinions to themselves, but we wouldn’t hold that against DL or PNG. Good luck to you and with any luck we hope to see you weeks 9 – 11  :)

    They did play a good game our kids didnt do what they were supposed to do missed blocking assignments and the delay of game, i was on the chain gang and some of the comments i heard from the Lumb coaches i wont put on here ill give it to the proper people and see what they want to do with it. I got burnt out there, my son stripped down to just his pants out there and poured water all over himself, did good seen him get through the line acouple of times but no help, and the arm tackling after what we worked on, it shows that we only practiced 3 days this last week ??? oh well to Vidor we go, and raider white as long as my sons an Indian i have plenty to smack about. :-*

    I’m the head coach of the Lumberton Junior White Team so if you have evidence of any coach from our side acting in an inappropriate manner let me know and I’ll be sure to address it. But keep in mind we had a professional cameraman recording our game and picked up most of the sideline activity as well. One thing that sticks out on the film is when I had to call the head referee over to get control of the chain gang about their comments. It doesn’t surprise me to find out you were one of them. 

    Some of the things you may have heard while on our side are our coaches shooting down the New Indian theories and comments. You can’t take that personally because our coaches didn’t know your identity and certainly not aware you were on our sideline. You have to understand that we use your posts on this site as motivational tools. By the time our teams meet my boys are ready to rip your heads off and it’s unfortunate your boys have to pay for your comments but they have for the second year in a row.

    Lets just leave at "Good Game"

    It seems like New Indian bit off more than he could chew and now he's getting hit from all directions. I'm with Lumberton White and it sounds like we are going to play them again week 1 so they get another chance at it. Either way I guarantee it's not going to come down to 1 player any more than it did last year.

    He hasn't said a word in about three days now and there are some that won't let up... Give him a break it will all come out in a couple of weeks.  :)
