I enjoy exposing you ;)
And he enjoys being exposed, Dove.  He used to tell me, "It's so nice out - I think I'll leave it out." :-[ :-X
Well it's kinda cold out there
2. Rehab? JK-get well soon
3. Sliva’s dominant history will rightfully so keep him at #1 but no one is currently more dominant than Jones.
4. It looks like for the second year in a row the Specs will here year round
5. Fished the north end of the lake today with a friend and did well. Trout up to 24". We threw plenty of keepers back. [img][Hidden Content]]
6. I'm suprised the atricle didn't address that
7. Planning any winter trips?
8. I would much prefer stand up striking but a razor elbow gash to the forehead and a standup lights out choke in less than two rounds against a top contending former champion was pretty impressive. If the fight was less than impressive it’s because Jones is that much more dominant than his opponent and Machida is no slouch. I don’t really get a thrill out of see bones snapped but the Mir Nog fight was impressive while it lasted. I don’t mind the ground game as long as they’re active.
9. I knew you would disagree and I’m sure Silva will hold on to his ranking but realistically no one is more dominant right now than Jones. I know Silva will stay on top because of his history though.
10. Jones proved he could be the #1PFP fight. JMO I know some will disagree but no champion is as dominant. And that was a nasty break by  Mir
11. I'm not a Tito fan but I do like watching him fight. I hope he wins so he doesn't retire.
12. I was hoping Penn could have taken him but it didn't happen
13.

Pujols deserves all the money he'll get... for probably 5 years.  and then after that, the angels will go from paying him a little more than he deserves to wishing they'd never made the deal by the end of his contract when he's putting up Jim Thome numbers. I'm not saying he won't still be decent at that time, but there's no way that he'll still be a superstar in 7 years, or that he'll even be more than pretty good in 10.
They probably said that about Nolan...but there is only one Ryan Express!
Carlos Lee contract comes to mind Maybe the contract is structured with less financial burden on the back half
14.
Have not been there in years...... May have to try that
I was really impressed by the condition; good roads, good docks and clean
15. I recently road through the McFadden game reserve. It was much nicer than I expected. There were several docks for fishing. The road was closed at the bridge with several people fishing on the bridge. They said they regularly catch decent fish. Has anyone fished back there lately or does anyone have any info on the area?
16. The angels are pumped now. Wait until they're on the back side of that 10 year contract and they're stuck with him
17. I was looking forward to seeing GSP shut Diaz up
18. A little off topic; there were some good fights on UFC finale last week. The little guys can bring it.
19. Yep, good numbers and they will probably stay good as long as Paq stays in the picture.
20. Mir should take this one We'll see what Tito has left. I don't know Jones is the man. I don't think he is going to lose for a long time; however, Machida’s style could catch him off guard. Of Machida’s last four fights two were losses and one was a very close win. All three fights are good match ups. I’m really looking forward to Saturday night.
21. Just change tthis thread title to "game updates" and there's no telling how many pages we'll end up with. Oh, go WOS
22. WOS 23 CS    7 I allowed for WOS a 40 yd field goal and a missed extra point
23. Most every year during the regular seasons WOS have well less than 30 on the sidelines when many opponents would have 50+, however they usually move up some JV for the playoffs.
24.
UIL State record stats on most playoff appearance by a team Coldspring (25) 1942, 45, 50, 51, 52, 54, 55, 64, 66, 74, 75, 90, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 98, 2001, 2002, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 West Orange-Stark (22) 1979, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 Jasper holds the Area 3-A record with 40, 2nd in State behind Hondo with 49. Highland Park holds the all classifications record with 52. Both WO-S and Coldspring would have to make a 30 year run to match that record.
Not that matters but WOS didn't exist before 1977
25. Many teams and fans start off a game against WOS confident and feeling good because of the small numbers of Mustang players on the sidelines. WOS opponents out number WOS players two to one. By the end of the first quarter their confidence is tested. Well into the fourth quarter they are surprised because WOS has not tired or slowed down. It should be great game.
