none of the boy that got suspened was a regular starter. one of them started some games but not all they games. hear me now david green has a brother that is a freshman that will more than likely get moved up and will get some playing time. he not the shooter trey is but is a smart b-ball player and never get rattled. the thing about programs someone always step up. case in point lebron high school team never lost without him. saying that," i say that this should be a one hell of a game". someone will step up for each team.

i feel that ozen has taken enough heat because of the actions of willie, and now that this has happened to the current players. i feel that the adminstrators will do what is right. they may feel that the incident warrant more attention. i liked the idea of coach not playing them during the games in SA.

central girls won 55-32 against northwest. janise lead the lady jags with a double double. they play again tomorrow at 7pm

thats what i mean. sometimes as a coach you have to know when to manage a game and when to outplay a team. i feel his game plan was great for what could have occured. i dont blame him at all. they leave the game with some confidence and central leaves the game saying we won and didnt have to work hard to win the game. i am just saying as a fan it was a boring game. i wouldnt have chased you all night playing stall ball. i would have did exactly that just sit back and get the victory

that was one of the most boring games i have ever seen. lumberton coach played stall ball and just didnt want to get blown out type of game plan. i mean it gives them hope and might be brillant on his part. some times you just know that the matchup arent in your favor

they dont split ties. they dont vote again. thats why 6-8 centers made second team.

congrates to all the kids that made the selection and to all the kids that wasnt selected. remember college scouts do not look at the all district selections of the newspaper. they actually watch film 1st and ask your coaches and other district coaches about you. so as long as the film shows good things colleges coaches will be calling

sometimes it is buddy- buddy and some times it is political? their is a difference. coaches cant vote for themselves. so i was told the vote was 4-3-1. so two coaches got the votes and one coach got the throw everything off vote. the political side of these things are showing more and more daily

let me start off by saying this. no disrespect to coach crouch cause he is trully a good coach and deserved to be recognized, but the man had 18 starter returning and finished in 5th place. on the other had coach washington for central had to replace 17 starters and finished with the first out right district title since 86 i think. not only does the award annual go to the coach that wins district title, but this year they decided to be political with the award. some of you will say that central was picked to finish first but as chris berman says that is why they play the games. there was lot of b/s choices like kids not playing in any or few district that got elected for 1st or 2nd teams. neuman and faircloth kids both played had and made it to the playoff but did not and shouldnt have won coach of the year also.

ozen has one soph that is 6'6 about 250 lbs. that plays varsity some games and jv some. the freshman team at ozen has a 6-5, 6-4, and two 6-3 twins. they have alot of size on the underneath levels. cant move them up now cause they are trying to get playing time for all of them for development

i agree with you about loving to have a david green on your team, but the teams that have made it do have quality qb on their teams. we/ they just hope not to play a team with a david green type kid. to comment on the hughes thing i agree he is a natural leader and it is unfair that he doesnt have the supporting cast that some of the other have. cause if you put him and david green with central defense and their offenses then they both would be in the playoffs.

1st team: david green ; doty. just like last year it was hughes and doty 1st team. -
going into the season many of the people is setx would have said Doty(PNG) or hughes (LUM) but after watching alot of the games this year i doubt in everyone agree with that. I feel that David Green has out played them. That kids has played his heart out to the tune of no victories in district. ozen is avg 35 point the last five games cause he is ballin. Hunter (lcm) has lead his team to the brink of the playoffs. he is another one of those cause he is the signal caller his team is going to avg 30 pts a games. Robert Mitchell (cen) has stepped up and made plays with his feet and arm. does have to make plays for his team like the others do but quietly gets the job done leading the undefeated jags. forney has lead his team back to playoff contention. so what do yah think

#8 cantue is ok. he was released saturday night from the hospital. he will have a full recovery and has been release to practice. supposedly a pinch nerves/stinger. he jags will win the game by the score of 42-28. dont see png stopping the run and if they thought nelson from ozen is fast they havent seen keonis brazier yet. he is twice as fast. let the track meet begin.
