It will prove that the team is 1-0. Nothing else can be proven after one game by any team. Even WO-S's loss to Nederland will not prove that they are a bad team or can't keep up. It will just mean that they have work to do.

I think that 28 is a stretch.... but not by much. In the same Beaumont Bowl rivalry last year, West Brook won by a combined 37 points. West Brook has most of their offense back this year including their qb and to rb (I think). Rivalry or not..........

Exactly how is it that any court will remove a name from a team mascot? I think you are putting way too much thought or hopes for a court that has no jurisdiction in that venue. Ever hear of the concept of freedom of speech? Political pressure might get someone to change but it will not be from a court ordering it.

While any practice helps, that wasn't the question presented by shooter. Shooter asked, "So, can we truely gauge a team by what happened this summer in 7 on 7". Does it help a quarterback rather than sitting at home playing video games? Yes. Does it help with timing and his receivers? Yes. Does it predict or gauge how your team will do? No. Will your quarterback be better for having played 7 on 7? Maybe.

The worst fair-weather fans that I have had the experience to see was PA Lincoln. When they weren't winning, no one showed up. I was at Memorial Stadium for one of their homecoming games and they didn't have 75 fans on their side. I was embarrassed for the kids on the field. For a 4A school not to bring 100 fans out for a homecoming is unbelievable. When they got on a bit of a win streak, you couldn't buy a ticket. Talk about from one extreme to the other.... or the true definition of fair-weather fans I guess.

How did you figure that out? Port Arthur has very little to do with it according to the news reports. The city is said to be spending less than a million dollars on it and the complex is going to cost up to 30 million. How is the city wasting money when they basically aren't spending any?
