I never said anything about Central before they played Nederland. I rarely comment on games. I did get my opinion on Central defense after watching the Nederland game. Won fair and square by Central but not due to outstanding defense. The outstanding Jag defense held Nederland to 19 first downs and 355 yards. Nederland fumbled at the Central 1 and got to 8 and got major penalty. No excuses, it is a team sport and stats are for losers. But let’s not kid ourselves with a great Central defense. Like I said, average at best.
