    Haha 😂 yeah I’ve been here long enough to know who’s posts to take seriously.

    We are looking good right now and I hope we are able to make some program history with a deep run. I’m pulling for them Dawgs as well and I hope Jasper and Diboll are both still playing in December.

    I do like their chances in the Semifinals if they make it there. Diboll’s biggest challenge will be surviving Region 3. With likely matchups of Buna, Yoe, Grandview (if they get through Rockdale and EC), then Troy/Whitney/Crockett/Franklin/or another hot team in the top bracket, they will have been battle tested going into the Semis. 
    I do believe Diboll will have to win 1 or 2 games passing the ball to advance in Region 3.

    Even with a win of 15 or more (15 is the cap on margins of victory in 11-3A-I games), there is no way that either Coldspring or Palestine Westwood could match Elkhart's +14.

    That is why a margin of victory of any amount by Westwood would put Elkhart in the 4th spot.

  11. Diboll vs. Trinity

    First off...good to see more Diboll fans here on SETX Sports...welcome! 
    Unfortunately Trinity is a little down this year so this game should not be that competitive, but you never know. I would imagine the starters will get some good work in the first half then the offensive starters will sit the second half. Coach Mo will probably want to keep working the defense so they will more than likely play a little longer if the game gets one sided.

    Yeah I’m pretty sure coach Mo and the team know that this week’s game will be a challenge and probably the most physical game of the year. It just does not seem that the Seniors are buying into the hype of state recognition and are just handling business each week. 
    Franklin is a good team and I do think they will put up the most points scored against the Diboll D this year but I don’t think it will be enough to win.
