I agree, Diboll was up 26-0 late in the 3rd then they started making costly mistakes and getting lazy. It seems like Diboll is having second half conditioning issues. They have had a chance to win every game they've been in, but ran out of gas in the 4th. Athens scored 20 in the last 5 minutes of the game last week. Diboll has good size on both sides of the ball, but that does'nt help if they are not in game shape. Hopefully this will be fixed by district. Diboll's starting Qb should also be back from injury for the start of district play.

Diboll,s three losses were to 3 teams that will likely have good playoff runs (Tatum, Corrigan, Athens), so I would'nt count them out. They are not that bad, but I don't think Rb Taylor can beat Jasper, Center, or Kville by his self like he did Shepherd.

Everyone has had a pretty tough predistrict schedule, so it will be interesting to see who carries the positives into district play.

If it where possible to win offensive player of the week and worst second half team of the week, Diboll would win hands down!! Diboll dominated this game and almost gave it away off stupid mistakes in the 4th. Much respect to Shepherd for not giving up!!

He looked real good. He had a couple of long runs called back for holds, and threw the ball well. He accounted for most of Tatum's offense.

Diboll gave up 14 quick points off turnovers on their side of the field. Other than that, Tatum's offense had a hard time moving the ball. Diboll had a couple of good scoring opportunities but failed to convert. Turned out to be a good game.

Diboll plays Corrigan next week. Corrigan just beat a Woodville team that Diboll struggled with in their last scrimmage, so next week will be interesting. Diboll won last year's renewal of the rivalry, so im sure Corrigan is looking to even the score.

Tom Sheppard will resign as the athletic director and head football coach at Diboll High School on Thursday. Sheppard, who is 15-17 with two playoff appearances in three years in Diboll, will resign to move into private business.

Against Kville, yeah they where terrible. Against Center and Huntington, not really.

Jasper has the perfect recipe to beat Diboll...Run,Run,Run. Diboll took quit a beating last week, giving up tons of rush yards. The Diboll coaches will have to pick these kids up this week to get them ready for a Jasper team that will come out fast, after having a week of rest.

Yes, Texas A&M where there looking at both Ford and Diboll's Taylor. I'm sure Fords performance increased their intrest in him, while Taylor put the ball on the ground too much. Taylor is only a Jr. so he'll have another full year to impress the scouts.

I agree Center wins, but don't think they'll keep Taylor and Baily out of the endzone.

Unless my Jacks have made huge changes in their defense during the bye week, the offense will have to put up 40+ to stay in this game. Rbs have put up "Player of The Week" type stats on our D even in the games we've won. With the exception of HJ who threw the ball 50 times. Center should take this one.

Don't know much about HJ, but Diboll has D1 prospect Rb Terrence "TNT" Taylor. Diboll's defense has been very weak, so i don't know which way to go in this game.

Very sloppy game on both sides. Diboll's rb Terrence Taylor ( despite his 2 uncommon fumbles ) looked great. Both defenses where bad, but Dibolls was the worst of the two. If Shepherd holds on to the football, they probably win this game. So basically, if Diboll does'nt find some help on offense for Taylor and find atleast a little defense they have no shot at the playoffs. Shepherd needs to learn to hold on to the football and also find a defense or no shot for them either.
