1. Heck they all are capable... Just very very few do. Maybe after the season you too could have a rematch. For those of us that missed the game.
2. You betcha. Like my old coach use to say winning is not everything... but it is the most important thing. Or play for the fun of it but only winning is fun. Just kidding I hope all kids get more out of playing football then X's and O's.  As a parent and coach I hope to show that.
3. Last year we had a player that had stikers he wore on his helmet with names of family members he wanted to remember.
4.
I took numbers from school digger, and had to divide overall of the campus. Like I said the numbers may be off a little, but not too much. PAISD numbers continue to decline.
OK I looked at the school digger site and they only list 2 of the 3 middle schools Eddison and Austin listed in PA so I am sure that is why your numbers looked low. [Hidden Content] So it looks like you could add another 218 kids to that list. so maybe around 670 6th graders boys and girls. Good discussion I like it.
5. I had no idea boys would be that interested in wearing pink. I love it. After last year we had to place some restrictions to what players could do to the association issued equipment. Several helmets were permanently marked with pink.
6. From the STJFL by-laws Article 4 sub-part j line 2 “Any and all teams that can score 50 or more points on any West Orange Stark team will not be play-off eligible.” ;D
7.
Ok guys I did a little research. I did it by 6th graders, who would be senior tackle because that was easiest to get numbers as close as possible. What I did was get enrollment figures from what campus had a 6th grade and then divided the number of grades by total campus population and came up with the figures. It's not exact, but might show the difference. These numbers are boys and girls. Here it goes: 1. Nederland 544 kids        (CO Wilson, Central) 2. Port Arthur 454            (TJMS,Lincoln MS) 3. Beaumont 437              (Vincent, Marshall) 4. Vidor 365 5. PNG 338                      (PN MS, Groves MS) 6. Lumberton 302 7. Bridge City 194 8. WOS 177 9. Little Cypress 170 10.Orangefield 135 11. Kountze 104 Now they could let Beaumont have the North End with (Austin MS, MLK, Smith 443 kids) have a team and then the South End (Odom,South Park 387 kids) have a team. That should be done to let everyone play. JMHO
It is very hard to get some clear numbers for some of the schools but now way PA has 100 less number of 6th graders than Nederland. I think you may have left out some numbers from their 3 middle school Austin, Edison, Lincoln.

9. I agree teams like WOS and Lumberton who only have around 1,000 kids from 1st-8th grade have only about a third of the kids that PA has available, and have done very well over the years. I just find it odd that the STJFL placed restrictions on Bmt. that limited them to XXXX number of kids and not PA. Now if that restricted number for Bmt is the same as  the potential numbers for PA then great. BUT i just don't think that was taken into consideration when PA granted admission to the STJFL. HEY I know that it only takes 20 or so to have a team and if don properly everything works out.
10. Just throwing this out there. If my numbers are correct (chances are they may be off) WOS with #4 has given up 2010 Jr. 28 pts, 2009 Jr.White 6 pts., 2008 Pee Wee 41 pts. in each of the regular seasons. So scoring 50 pts in a game is HUGE. Hats off to PA. ALL of those kids played hard. I bet it was a great game. There again I love them all.
11. Looks about right. But I think there may be 4 or 5 others that could beat several on that list.
12.
Still no comparison P.a has more than one league u can play in with 3 different teams..........Png has one team one league ALL Kids play in ......btw you miss counted on number of schools in p.a .......png 1 high school....p.a 1 high school....bmt 3 high schools, public that is !!!!
So I guess the answer is PA has no restrictions then right. Not that it makes a difference here on a messageboard but you have to admit teams that have more kids to draw from have a advantage. If Bmt is limited to (someone please fill in the blank) and that limitation is a say 3,500 kids than why would you say there is no comparison to PA. By the way unless we have high school kids playing on any of the teams I did not include any of those enrollment numbers.
13. Compared to say Port Neches 6 Elementary Schools = 2199 2 Middle Schools = 1087 About half of what PA may or may not be drawing from.

I think I read Beaumont could only draw kids from a certain area of Beaumont. Is that the case for PA?
]STJFL By-Laws: SECTION 4.  All participants will be certified according to the school in which they attend.  In the case where a school district has more than one elementary or junior high, the STJFL board will make a determination as to how the association will have to split the participants in their association.  The board will consider size of community, locations of schools, school boundaries, etc. while making its determination.  Any child that is home or private schooled must be certified in the district they live in.  No child will be allowed to play outside of their school district without a waiver from the STJFL Board.  The STJFL Board will consider any exceptions or special considerations.
OK so are there any restrictions placed on PA by the STJFL Board? 9 Elementary Schools in PA it looks like they have an enrollement of around 5702 give or take. 3 Middle Schools in PA somewhere around 2021 enrollment. 18. I am sure others have noticed the 2 big billboards one on Hwy 365 and the other on Twin City Hwy in Mid County of the PNG youth football association. First off NICE... I just wanted to know how the different groups advertise to help build or promote their association? The billboards seem like a great idea to help cross promote the association and the sponsors. I know most groups send out flyers to schools but what other things are done to increase enrollment, revenue generators, and sponsorships?

20. The STJFL has board meetings 6-8 the first Wednesday of each month. I am sure this has been or will be worked out.
21. Hey just throwing this out there. I am a coach (well for what it is worth), a father and a football fanatic. By no means am I computer guru, but in my spare time I started a web site to share with others the hard work these young men do for FUN. I have had a blast doing this and only wish I knew how to do more. I have so many kids, parents, even grandparents thank me for what I do. I have been blessed that I have only missed a few of my sons games over the years and it give me great pleasure to know other get to share some of those memories with their friends and family by looking at their website. Last year my mother-in-law past away from cancer. She was not able to see many of my sons games because of her illness but she was able to visit the site to keep up with scores, news, and see photos of the games. There are plenty of smarter folks than me, SO I challenge each of the teams to invest the time and effort to share these memories of a lifetime. If your team plays the Sr. white team be sure to check out the pictures afer the game my wife and I post around 2-3 hundred pictures every game so your little one might just be in there. I use Home Teams Online they have free sites or you can up-grade for some of the pay sites.    www.littlened.com [Hidden Content]?

24. If the player moved to Silsbee how is this even news worthy? Now if he does not reside within the district that should peek some intrest within the community.
