Congratulations to the winners of the 2011 Junior Mid-County Madness. Flag Division-Nederland Pee Wee Division-PNG Junior Division-PNG Senior Division-Nederland This was a great event.  These All-stars played great.  A wonderful way to bring these two communities together.

Game times for the Junior Mid-County Madness are as follows: Flag--9:00am Pee Wee--10:30am Junior--12:30pm Senior--2:30pm There will be a gate fee.  It is same as the STJFL Playoffs.  Adults $3 Students $2 5 and under free

Obviously Nederland couldn't make an adjustment because thats a big swing in scoring! :o [/quote] You are right ICE.  Lumberton is coached so well, they have the athletes and ability to adjust.  But more importantly, their coaching staff is probably the best I've ever seen.  When you guys play in the bowl, don't give them a 13 point cushion.  Those coaches will know how to close that game out!!

If anyone has been close to Lumberton White Senior prior to kickoff, you would know that raider44 and demons95 have those young men psyched up.  They are so ready to play, they would run through a wall.  And those two backs of theirs have already done that.  All they do is leave rubble in their wakes.  I'm not sure how any defense they have faced has finished a game with as much punishment they dish out.  It makes me want to put my house up for sell and move to Lumberton......

From all the tape that I have seen, Lumberton White Senior is the team to beat.  They have not been in a close game all year.  They simply dominate.  NO ONE will be able to stop the GROUND and POUND attack of those two backs!!  Good luck to anyone stepping in the way of the L-TRAIN!!  CHOO CHOO!!!

Today, the Nederland Youth Football Association will be holding their 2nd Annual NYFA Pink Out.  This is a day that we focus on teaching our youth to give back to their community.  We are raising money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  The Bulldogs will be hosting the PNG Indians all day.  The kids are putting down their colors and will be showing up in pink.  Please come out to watch some great youth football and support a good cause!!!  Thanks in advance. The NYFA is holding registration on May 7th, 14th, and 21st, at the Nederland High School Cafeteria.  We will be there from 9am to 1pm each day.  We will be registering football players and cheerleaders between the ages of 5 and 12 years old.  The child must be 5 years of age by August 1, and we are not allowed to register 7th graders.  Please bring as copy of the child's birth certificate and a current report card.  For more information, please go to STJFL.net and click on the Bulldog.  Good luck to NYFA and the STJFL this season.
