Somebody please tell my why you would think lcm or ozen makes the playoffs? Is it because lcm has a new coach or ozen has all that speed and athletism? I'm sorry but I have been hearing about ozen for a few years now. I will believe it when I see it. I'm not a bulldog fan by any stretch of the imagination but why would you think they would not make the playoffs. Nueman is just to crafty and finds a way.

Heart comes from more than a coach. It comes from many different places including coaches. For all you people in Beaumont that think athletes wins games please keep thinking that.

Ozen has the athletes no doubt but what is Ozen's record against PNG with those far superior athletes? It takes more than athletes. You have to have heart.

Speaking of history, what is ozen's record vrs. PN-G. Seems that is the history we need to look at. I say this is a pickem game becuse it is still to early in the season to get a read on the teams but If you go with history and the fact it should be a close game PN-G should get the W.

The question is best tradition not most state titles or highest winning percentage. It is tradition, which may include winning but is not the only thing. There is several other things that bring tradition. I will also be a homer here and say PNG is at least top 5 in state. Plano is there also.

Nolan Ryan. My favorite thing about Nolan was when he pounded Ventura on the head for a while when he charged the mound.

The PN-G vrs. Shertz Clemens was a classic in the way Long brought the Indians from behind in the final minutes to win and send them to the state game. Best high school game I ever saw.

You can talk about a players physical skills all you want but there is only 1 player who picked his team up on his back and carried them to the playoffs. Best running back in the area hands down. This is coming from a BIG PN-G fan who grew up in an era who didn't like nederland too much. Micah Moseley
