Where did you read a forfeiture was never a possibility? If they would have had more evidence, better quality video it could have been it sounds like from the hearing.

Cleary a difference in the second half production, the lack of evidence is the key in their decission but its obvious looking at the two halfs.

UIL meeting tomorrow morning on this? Wonder what the punishment will be. Maybe one game suspension or out for remainder of the year?

This is the big part for me as well, one the BC coaches asked at halftime if LCM had it, they say no. Coach gets caught changes his story and just tosses it? Thats a bad look for the staff IMO. If your going to lie about not having it whose to say you wouldnt lie about using it for your advantage? Given you knew what was being sent out on the band.

High school coaches know the rules and are required to take UIL courses at the beginning of each season. If an opposing coach gained an advantage by using the other teams communication device that is against the rules. The head coach should have been notified by someone on his staff, other coaches had to know. Im sure these devices are not cheap and if LCM had the device it did not just disappear it was either taken back or thrown out. Not a very good look for what has developed into a good program over the past few years.
