HJ has some really good open field tackling. 

I was ready to call the season after watching a couple of scrimmages and practice early on. lol they proved me wrong and they have got better every game. HJ looks scrappy and so are we, I think this will be the best game out of the two districts squaring off. 

You guys are in for a shock when you see some of the Bellville kids if you truly believe they are a one man team. They have some big cornfed kids over there. lol

Saw Shepherd scrimmage early on, and I can't believe it's the same team. They are VASTLY improved I am going to take Shepherd 21-17.

Shepherd doesn't have much depth. But they have a good team. Don't kick it deep to them lol we did that one time.. didn't do it the rest of the game. Pulling for our district partners to beat HJ

I can't be the only one who remembers when Tarkington upset Mexia? That won't happen this year but man that was cool. Lol

Bellville was the better team. hopefully we can both make some noise in the playoffs.

BellVille with a well deserved win. They are good no excuses from Shepherd. We just got beat by a good team

Shepherd will be good next year IMO. Hell this year isn't over yet. 

These shepherd parents are terrible. When it's going good they love the coach when we are getting beat by a dang good team all of a sudden the coaches are the reason. Need glad how about we are getting beat by a dang good team

20-19 halftime. Great game. BellVille is big and physical.  Gonna be an exciting finish. Both these teams getting after it

Shepherd been inside BellVille 10 two more times and came away with nothing hope that doesn't bite us

I get what you guys are saying. Im just playing the devils advocate but when you know your playing a team you know has a more potent offense, keeping the ball out of their hand can work in your favor. imagine if the game went back and forth like it did in the 1st half? you have a chance to win the game. if you try to play mustang football your not going to win. If they could of kept it close enough for a last field goal they have the better kicker. he will hit one from 40+ in the final seconds. lol I don't think that means you're giving up, just a different approach. I'm sure after brown went out and wos went up a couple scores, their morale was pretty shot. It just kind of seems odd to blame a team for giving it what they see as their best shot.

Why do you comment on things you have no knowledge of?  Liberty did not sacrifice one game for the next.  HJ caught Liberty playing out of their normal routine, which is what they did tonight..pound the ball down the field.  Instead, Liberty tried to air it out and paid for it.  This was a return to what they do best.  And it was a decent showing against a superior team.  How about just giving a little props and stop trying to over-analyze things?

They ran a different style offense because they want to win you dont go out on fridays and play like the other team wants you to play, be smarter than that you gain any edge you can and if its running a different offense then oh well. Adjust to it which Cornell has look to have done... Great Coach
