Sabine Pass won. Sabine Pass 53 HD 49

He was younger and just missed ALOT of calls. The foul count was very loop sided. 1 fouled out the rest of the starters had 4 each and a couple on the bench had 2 .. This is Sabine I'm speaking of. Also got a little chippy at the end between 2 players .. refs didn't address it earlier so it went on most of 2nd half.

One ref in particular was just awful tonight. Lots of fouls called and not called. Sabine Pass should have won by more but got into foul trouble and couldn't be as aggressive on defense.

do you have any total numbers or foul trouble for Sabine Pass?

Is it all Jones and Sam in the 1st quarter? Foul trouble for either ?

This was a rough one. SP just didn't have the depth to hang with EC. Being this my first SP game to attend I was impressed with #4 Jones seems to have a high basketball IQ and court awareness #2 Sam played well also. SP was torched from the outside shooting and the inside presence that EC displayed. SP coach seems very green. Didn't really get into the game was on the bench for most of the game. I remember the days of Coach Dewitz and Harvey having the passion and fire. This coach ( unsure of his name ) just seemed like he was timid to get into the game. SP will have a tough time in the first round against Piney .. if Jones and Sam get into foul trouble early to mid 3rd quarter SP doesn't stand a chance. Stay out of foul trouble and maybe they make it a closer game than expected.

Please keep updated on this whether or not it will happen. SP Alum living out in Fannett would like to see them play once this year.

From what ive read on here its to Rhode Island .. but thats just what ive read on here .. havent seen Sabine play this year so im not sure

Who is the new head ball coach out in Sabine ?

ill have to make a trip to Sabine and check them out. As a Sabine alum i need to see what kind of new offense and defense this new coach brought with him to the program as coach Harvey had a well oiled machine there.

Anyone have any info on this game ? I was told that SP had a D1 prospect ... How did he play ? Did he play ? I dont recall Warren ever being strong at bball .. and Ive heard nothing but this SP team being very strong ..

yeah. i figured there had to be more to the story than a kid that attends school at Sabine Pass is getting offered D1 bball ride. Just doesnt happen out there. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

My question is ... Was he offered that bball scholarship while still attending school in Port Arthur? I just dont see a scout coming all the way from Rhode Island to scout a 2A that just lost their longtime basketball coach. I went to school at Sabine In the early 2000's and there wasnt ever a scout at any sporting event ...
