thanks for that post, its to bad everyone else is to retared to understand that it was both hooks and moddy that didnt want to play...like u said if it would have just been moddy backing out, it would be a forfeit and wos would get the win There is no understanding to it... many of us KNOW Hooks didn't agree. ...and if you're going to insult someone, at least learn how to spell the insult... There is no reason and there is no good excuse. He saw an opportunity to get out of it and went for it. Had we lost to Nederland you can bet this game would be happening.

It's no secret that you work on your week 1 opponent much more than you do during the regular season. It's always been that way on every football team I ever played on. I'm sorry, I'm not going to buy the "we didn't have time to prepare" like I said yesterday.

Maybe Moody should show more class than to rob the kids of WOS AND LCM of a game that this community looks forward to every year. Most of the folks I know from LCM did not want this game cancelled. He should be ashamed of representing the LCM community like this. I know the people of LCM were not afraid to play this game, but yes Moody was quite afraid of it. So all of you who were on here yesterday saying that the thread was ridiculous, what do you think now? What could possibly be the justification for this?

I don't think Garrett is getting much attention right now because he played behind his brother last year. However, games like last Friday will get him on the radar screen quick!

Man, we are not getting anything at all here in Orange. Very little wind and no rain at all so far. Just overcast and a little cooler which is nice. The BBQ place next to Crazy Jose's has been open the whole time. I think we will be heading over there later. For those of you who evacuated, all OC schools as well as Deweyville have canceled school for Tuesday and Wednesday. The rest of the week is pending any damage to this area, which I don't see happening.

If you guys need anything during the night, we are straight across I-10 from you. Probably less than a mile as the crow flies. I'll be checking here and giving updates. Let me know if you need anything. ;D

I don't think they block hwy's unless the area is declared a disaster area. I think a mandatory evac means there will be no emergency services available, your pretty much on your own, but I'm pretty sure they do not stop traffic.

He misses one, the first one and you're already done with him. This was his first kick in a game. Give him a chance. He went on to do a great job. Let's have some patience. ...and even that one was a messed up hold, so it wasn't even his fault. This kid will be a good kicker. td and I watched this kid at practice pumping them thru the uprights over and over from 40, so just give him time and he'll bring that to the real games.

Wow... what sticks out to me on these stats is that only one of the top five passing teams won their games, but all five of the top 5 rushing teams won. You have to be balanced!
