The WOS JV is pretty stout. They put a pretty good beat down on the Nederland JV last week 34-7. At times, they look like a varsity out there. The QB (Reggie Garrett- Soph) easily had over 150 yards passing. The defense is quick and VERY physical. They have a very good chance of running the table this year.

8) I know i expect a big blow-up within LCM bout this decision. like i said before he will have to go deep in the playoffs to stick around the bear cave next year. but if memory serves me right wasnt he wanting to leave for two high-profile jobs, including LM last year? I honestly think you need a coach in your program who wants to be there and work with the kids and community, thats JMO. I agree with you.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be monitored, by all means, his family should be left out of it. But to say that a poster is not "worth" the relationship with Moody is a little disrespectful. Without the interest of these posters who frequent this site, it would be dead in the water. Just don't forget where your bread is buttered.

when i say change i'm talking about the "SPREAD." they have only run this offense in this game only. i am very aware that we don't need to change this offense, just use it more often than the"SPREAD". time will tell. That's what I'm talking about. Just because he had a big game doesn't mean you go to the "I" or something like that. The spread is great because it keeps the defense off balance. Even though you are having success with the run, you can't abandon the pass. You have to stay balanced.

I agree with you on that, 77. If any of you LCM folk know Moody, maybe it would be worth while for him to get some heat about reconsidering this game. He's got tomorrow to change his mind, call him and speak with him. He's an outsider, he doesn't really know what this game means to the kids and community. Let him know how you feel!

I would think it would be a good move for ALL of the kids concerned. He would also win some respect from me. People make mistakes, but if you realize you've made one, had have the opportunity to fix it, then you should.

How about this, if Jasper officials can't get a hold of Kville, then WOS and Jasper can just play and play twice this year. It's unsual, but not un-doable!

I appreciate what you are trying to do here, Cat. Believe me, I have already shared my thanks with the man upstairs for sparing us. I just can't get away from the fact that, it didn't hit us, so there is really no reason for this to be done. I have a kid who is very upset about this deal and there is really no reason for it. Thank you for trying to defuse the situation, but I feel it's going to take awhile.

My daughter is a senior on the WOS drill team. She was so upset earlier when she heard the news that the game had been cancelled. She can't get this game back! There is no "next year" for her. They were excited about performing at the Orange Bowl so all of her LCM friends could see their routine as well as her seeing theirs. This decision has a ripple effect for BOTH sides and it goes WAY beyond Todd Moody.

At this point, it's only us and Kville/Jasper and they did it BEFORE evacuation. So really, we are the only game cancelled post Gustav.

thanks for that post, its to bad everyone else is to retared to understand that it was both hooks and moddy that didnt want to play...like u said if it would have just been moddy backing out, it would be a forfeit and wos would get the win There is no understanding to it... many of us KNOW Hooks didn't agree. ...and if you're going to insult someone, at least learn how to spell the insult... JEEZ!
