Thanks for all the chuckles today.... I look for a great FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL game with the best team winning....  But the real thing that makes me laugh is that WOS named their stadium after a guy that lives in BC and sent his kids to BC  ;D  ;D  ;D  I laugh everytime I see someone mention this.....
Because he wanted them in a soft environment...  ;) ;D
speaking of Soft environment? What do you call OF ;)  Soft enough for you Gasilla?
Plenty soft... ;) ;D

 3. There is also a huge game this week between WOS and BC 7th grades. Both come in undefeated.

Prior year's teams like Silsbee and WOS would use their skill guys on the long deep ball, throw it up. BC has defensive backs that kept Silsbee from the deep ball, will have to do the same with WOS.
Just as soon see WO-S not go deep.We aren't very accurate on the long balls.
But, they are still necessary. Completions or not.
 5.
On a different note:... both the 7th grade teams will also meet with undefeated records on Thursday at wos... Just thought people would like to know.... These are two young and talented squads.
Very excited about this game!!
They better wake up or BC will make history this week.
Gas, call me. Have info for you.
I've tried calling you twice and your not answering... WTH?

 8. Ha ha... I love it!
 9. They beat Cleveland last night 61-0.
 10. Who all was injured? I heard Reed went out in the 2nd qtr and never came back. To only lose by 6 with a back up QB is not bad. Also, to only lose by 6 with 6 INT's is equally impressive
 11. I thought OF's offense was better than Giddings. If Coldspring is still 50 points better than OF, no one in this district wants an ounce of them...
 12. As long as he isn't 19 before Sept 1 of his senior yr, then he is good.
 13. I have neither the time nor the desire to "refute" your comments... LOL Anyone who has seen them play knows that Bluedoves statements are accurate. Not trying to say your son isn't a good ball player, but that team wouldn't be close to the same without King. Sorry, not trying to offend, but it is what it is.
 14. I can't answer for the STJFL or other youth leagues, but middle school goes by age.
 15.

Jasper JV 22 WOS JV 14
I thought WOS played Orangefield this week?
OF doesn't have a JV.
 16. The statement I use is "freakish". Kind of like they said about Vince Young. The kid is going a different speed than anyone else around him.
 17. Your first statement is funny... As for the rest, just hope the kid nevers gets hurt...
 18.

Lets be honest, Kendrick is the glue to that 8th grade team at HF. He make makes that team go.
Kenrick is a special player, but without Kendrick that group would still win their games convincingly.
I absolutely disagree with that statement.
 19.
Kirbyville - 425
Will that get them into 2A?
 20. It would be awfully hard to argue against that, wouldn't it? Very tough schedule. At least they will get some relief in district.
 21.

Good luck to WOS, even though I attended BC until HS I live in West Orange, graduated from LC-M and attend Community. So those are the 3 schools in pull for. WOS, LCM and CCS. Good luck to all three. In closing my brother was a high school coach and if the HC/AD wants you the approval by the school board is a formality.
You win. Your mind is made up and it is and will be as you perceive it regardless of the facts. Therefore you must be right.
No, I don't win. But yes after talking to several people in the community of WO-S I'm not the only one that has these questions. (Or how I perceive the facts.) I haven't stated anything bad about the program and you're the one taking this personal. Coach Thompson is a great coach and like I stated before went out of his way to help a family member who didn't even attend WO-S. Finally, like I just posted WO-S, LC-M and CCS are the schools I follow and want to win every game. (since WO-S and LC-M) haven't played in at few years excepted a scrimmage I haven't had to cheer against WO-S. Good luck against Orangefield.
I'll add one more thing, a fact is a fact, it's not left up for "interpretation" or "perception". It is what it is. You can't "percieve" a fact, something is "percieved" a certain way due to a lack of facts. Which is what the many you speak of are doing. The problem is that, even when presented with facts, many are still going to "percieve" it the way they want, not because their aren't any facts presented, but because they choose to ignore them and would rather live with their "perceptions". ;)
 22.
BC with the least difficult schedule? Isn't their only loss to a very good Vidor squad who just happens to be 4A?
We are 6 games into it. One good team doesn't make a tough schedule.
 23.

Well, he wasn't going to be the OC under Coach Thompson so the writing was on the wall so to speak. BTW, I think you know my sister Kim Rose (married to Darwin Brack).
I just met her this weekend. I disagree that the writing was on the wall. He always intended to leave if he didn't get the head job. Those words from his mouth to my ears. He told me that right after he applied and long before any decision was to be made.
He told me the exact same thing. In fact, we spent, literally, hours on the phone with me trying to talk him out of it, but he had his mind set. He had logical reasons why he didn't want to say that, in the end, were hard to argue with, but the bottom line is he was not staying if he didn't get the job. Period. I love Toby, he is as much Blue and Silver as Coach Thompson and I HATED to see him leave. But he had his reasons and ultimately, you had to respect his decision, but they were made LONG before the head coach decision was made.
I am still holding out hope that he will come back as the OC while Coach T is still at the helm. The sooner the better!
I am not trying to wish anyone out of a job. The OC position is filled at this point. But, if it were to come open in the future, I would love to see that happen as well.
