It would be funny to bring that old post back when Barrow got the job on here… ( if someone can find it) on who applied and see how they have done… there’s a lot of people that wanted Barrow to get the job back then now have changed there mind I see. Lol I guess the narratives have changed.

I for one wanted Chad Simmons to get the job from get go, it came down to him and Monte for it…I’m guessing people are finally taking those bulldogs glasses off.

Just filter to most replied and it’s up there at the top. Kinda fun to go back and read all those comments. For sure got some guys who have 180’ed!

That 12-0 score was a fluke. Zero indication of what the game was really like.  2 late TD…I mean.. Nederland earned them, but game was out of reach by then.

The early playoff exits is why we can’t stress enough that the play calling just hasn’t been there.  Last year they took a step in the right direction and got 3 rounds deep.  My personal opinion… You continue to call games like you did last night.  You give yourself a legitimate chance to make it far.

The Titans had their starters in on those 2 late TD’s, don’t discredit those 2!

What was surprising was the fact that most of Ned’s big running plays came between the tackles. To me that INT in the end zone at the end of the game shouldn’t have even been called. You know you’re not going to win at that point and you’ve had success between the tackles most of the night, run the clock down and push one more across the goal line to end on a high note.

Also- really like the way the Ned kid (# 10) returns kicks. Freshman isn’t scared to run hard no matter how many times he gets lit up! Looking forward to seeing him in the backfield.

  3. From what I’ve been told, there’s more to the story than what’s been lead on. From my understanding, Sheffield Production had lost one of their top sponsors from the previous year. That coupled with them not getting their desired spot(they were offered a spot just not the one they wanted) is what lead to their departure. Let’s not put the full blame on NISD for this one.
