Passing game kept ya’ll in it. I think if PNg added more Lh plays and Lh added more png passing plays we’d both be nearly unstoppable. Tough loss - glad to have ya’ll in the thread this week. Hope you stick around

Yeah ,  they did start connecting on a few , maybe they should start practicing just a little more in practice .    Thanks for the hospitality and sportsmanship over here and Gd Luck to y'all next week .   Go Indians !

From NDN Press.  Game will be streamed, but not on YouTube

APPROVED: NDN Press has been APPROVED to broadcast this Friday’s State Semifinal game with Liberty Hill on our website, PNGISD.org.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. The NDN Press pre-game show will begin at roughly 6:30 p.m., with Kaiden Lunceford (‘27), Clayton Proffitt (‘27) and Ella Owens (‘26).

Because of restrictions with UIL-partnered broadcasters, we will NOT be streaming on YouTube.

Rather, we will have a video stream embedded on our website, ONLY ACCESSIBLE through clicking the link below. ⬇️

    GAME LINK:

This is the hidden content, please

The player is already there, so if you’d like to figure out how to get it to stream the way you want it to wherever you want to stream it, you have until Friday to get that figured out.

Though, we already know it works well to your phone. And to a computer.

You can also catch the action live on Cool 92.5 FM, with Francis, Lance and Rachael. 💜

We’re still getting over our audience last week — 7,075 accounts tuned in. — yet another NEW RECORD!!

We will do our best to bring another great broadcast as we bring SHOWTIME to the Berry Center!

Defense. Something WOS taught me. Thats how you get to State.

LH has given up 476 points this season. PN-G has given u 214 for the whole season.

    LH 34 PPG

PNG 15.2 PPG many of those on the 3rd and 4th against back ups.

LH gave up 81 pts to Hutto but it turned out alright LH scored 82 .

But tonight's game will be totally different   LH won't score 82pts .

PNG site showing more tickets.  I guess the tickets they added for the band are available.

LH site is gone.  I wonder if they didn’t pull it to just sell to their fans.  When PNG side sold out, it still came up and showed sold out.

I,m thinking that all tickets that don't sell  will be offered back to the general public .

Multiple coin tosses take place.  A home or home coin toss never happened, so he couldn’t pick to play in Austin.  He got to pick between stadiums near the halfway point, and purposefully chose to play at a smaller stadium.  Defend him all you want, but he is the reason PNG was buying up tickets on their side.

What makes you so sure ?  My understanding is it how it was stated that the home and home never happened because PNG didn't want to risk it . Also I don't know who chose last year but if it was PNG I'm thinking a rematch would be chosen by LH this yr. Tickets are tickets get in to watch  , sit on Lh side you might make some new friends .

I seem to recall LH trying to pass the ball late in the game last year when the score was getting out of hand. I also seem to recall PN-G being ready for it.

You don't have to be to ready for the pass .

Not something they practice much .  But if you see the QB run up to the line and looks to his left  drop you linebacker and safeties deep it's going to be purple 31 fly .

Winning at a stadium before is a pretty good reason...I'm just rolling my eyes at the comments about Coach Walker purposely choosing a smaller stadium to keep PN-G fans out its ridiculous

Sounds ridiculous to me also . They want to be outdoors and if it's cold/rain or sleeting the better they like it .

I have nothing  but respect for LH. Even spoke with the coach the week after the game. He was a very respectable and had much sportsmanship. He wished us the best and said he hoped we won it all. I am thankful for teams like LH who have and know what sportsmanship is. Last year after the final play a LH player laid on the field upset. Two Indians ran over and helped him up and hugged him. It was a beautiful thing. I have been told on here I am not the person who can determine what sportsmanship is that its subjective. I disagree. Sportsmanship is what it is. PNG and LH both have it. So does Brenham, and Dayton. Their are others just some on the top of my head.

That's a great show of sportsmanship . Shows the kinda of character were need more of in our country .

I don’t think it will be a blowout like Leander. LH isn’t going to be caught by surprise like last year. They know who we are now. And, I think they have made some adjustments on offense that make them a little more versatile. I wish PNG ran some of their run plays along with our passing game - We’d be that much harder to stop. So I think LH will move the ball on us, but I don’t think they’ll be able to do it as consistently as they need to. I’m thinking they score between 21-28 points. If we overperform we hold them to 7-14. The biggest problem will be that PNG will move the ball more consistently than them because I think we’ll have a fairly reliable 4-5 yards before contact on a lot of our run plays. It looks like LH has a pretty competent secondary, and they’re hunting interceptions. PNG won’t make the mistake Pieper made and throw it around a bunch. We’ll dare you to stop the run, but where we see opportunities, we have a capable passing game. Huntsville let us get them into single-man coverage with the safety up in the box once and it led to a 55-yard touchdown pass. It’s going to be a tough, good game. I predict something closer than last year, maybe in the 35/28-14/21 range. I’m having trouble gauging how good LH’s defense is, but I don’t see them as being as big or as physical as Huntsville’s defense. So, I don’t think LH will keep us from scoring at least 28, and I’d be comfortable betting we score at least 30. Can LH find 31 points? We’ll see. Good luck to ya’ll, in any case.

Good Luck to y'all also and Thanks for a classy post !  I've no illusions on how this game could and may turn out , but LH teams have surprised me in this past and I'll root for them to do just that this game and like I've said before however this game turns out I'll root for the team tht makes it to Dallas .

Pieper was a heavy pass first team. Their O-Line did nothing but block straight up. No push / pulls, anything. Just stood up and looked for someone to block. LH was able to jump the snap some, get inside the blocks but for the most part Pieper's issue was errant passes and dropped balls. They had zero running game to speak of. LH did play good coverage defense and would get some pressure on a limping QB, but otherwise it should have been a much closer game.

Yeah it don't add up does . But somehow LH beat em .  Somehow is a intriguing word isn't it .

Somehow a lot of games have been won and lost that shouldn't have .

Provided Bally doesn't televise the game, the PN-G high school journalism team (look up NDN Press on Facebook or YouTube) will stream the game with commentary. The kids are really good, and we've had strong viewership this year. The livestream topped out over 7,000 last week.

Thank you for the info. I surely will look it up . So Bally has bought the rights to this game and may not televise it ?

BTW,  was the Hutto score really that large?

Crazy game that was like  throwing a bucket of water through a barbwire fence . No defense !  LH couldn't cover a pass and Hutto couldn't stop a run . LH defense has gotten somewhat better the dbs have learned to cover a little tighter . But you will still see a wide open receiver a few plays . They did fair against Pieper as for as being in the right place .
