Miller's basketball game is back from football.

I saw Yates vs Stafford @ the day before thanksgiving showcase. Yates didn't look too good. That's a very young team. There are some guys from the Houston area that have a Facebook basketball page. When the season started they said Furr and BT Washington would finish district ahead of Yates. I haven't seen BT Washington but I think they are a sleeper team. (so is Furr) They got some height. Their coach is from Mississippi and they are playing in tournaments over there. So TABC etc are not watching them at all. They could be a problem. Time will tell.

Such outcomes for WO-S suggests favorably for Silsbee in district. Those district games still have to be played.

Back before high school in August, early September everyone couldn't wait until the latest Dave Campbell publication showed up at the news stand. Then you would thumb thru the thick magazine to see what Dace Campbell hard to say about you favorite high school team. RIP.

Silsbee has been playing games and or participating in tournaments in Lake Charles for years, decades Even backwhen I was in high school. Correction.Maybe not always in LC. Sometimes they played in a tournament in DeRidder La.

Two questions: is #3 Haynes injured? Who or what team did Silsbee play for the championship?

I think the coach takes out 5 starters so the team can apply pressure throughout the game. Back in the halcyon days a few years ago when the Tigers went to state several times straight Sigler used that strategy a lot. He would have the luxury of having 3 sets of 5 players. He would bring five in and out all the time. The games would be kinda close in the first half. Next you know the opposing teams would be tired and the result would be a 40 piece blowout. IMO that's the method to what coach is doing.

Player attempted that swing around dribble move, not in control. BU stole the ball blind side, and took it the other way for a lay up. It happens. Ball handling is a hard to master skill, almost an art form.

Sharpstoown these days is...Sharpstown. Not much going on in that area. All the talented dna moved to Alief, Ft Bend, Brazoria etc. You get the picture.

Beating Silsbeee for BU is just something to do. In reg 3: is Crosby still playing football? What basketball talent do they have coming off the football team? GCM can't tango with BU. Summer Creek lost a premier player to a private school. Silsbee can run with Summer Creek, maybe Crosby too. They won't have to so that is a moot issue. Up state the big question for BU is Kimballl.

BU dominated the paint w/o Arceneaux. With him also in the game...I don't want to think about it.

That tight game vs Madison and that OT game versus CE King probably took a lot out of the Tigers.

Silsbee is probably tired. Too many games lately. Too many missed shots and FTs.
