I agree with everything you said. I do want to caution you on the King comparisons unless Crosby ISD does a couple of things that Sheldon ISD has done. 1. Open enrollment- changed the dynamic of the Athletic programs. 2. Pass a bond that gives the Athletic Department some of the best facilities in the state. After those two things took shape, C. E. King has competed with the big boys in that district.

West Fork is not opting up

I tried to use geography for these four districts ( UIL may not)- the first two districts have schools that could be interchanged. Couple of thoughts for 5A: El Paso schools only had two schools that’s enrollment was Division I. So two options - travel to Lubbock area and lose a district OR El Paso area has 10 Division 2 schools and some opt up again like last realignment. Four team district - schedule was home and away. Confirmed that Houston ISD will have 6 opt ups to form a 8 team Division 1 district. Galena Park has opted up All Garland schools will opt up to 6A
