one of the reasons I think Newton has sustained their high level of winning year in and year out. the young freshman come in playing higher level competition each year(level wise that is). the experience they gain each year, helps keep those Eagles flying high.

I agree about the shaky, we are in need of repair in a couple areas regardless who we have play played. I must mention the fact though our 2 losses have come against 2 defending state champions that are both very capable of three repeats this season.

with Jasper having played both teams this season, I can tell ya if the Bears had hard time with Kinkaid then it's gonna be a real long night against Spring Legacy.

I like it much so! (our pre district schedule) of the 6 competitions we have had (including scrimmages) 4 of the 6 are defending state champions. Hopefully it has helped to prepare us for games ahead.

A friend and I were talking last night and he said " you and I know our football so tell me the last time the Blue&Silver lost 3 in a row? He said "cause if it's happened I don't remember. why the officials allowed it the entire game without a flag one just don't add up.

if "it" being their coach not just barely being on field but literally alot the times half way on the field . he literally changed the pace /momentum of the game especially when DAWGS were on offense. when they were offense I think all eleven at different times of the game "got cramps" in their legs and needed stretching😉. And/or if "it" means after the game rather than line up for handshakes that run out onto the logo and begin taunting the home team. That makes 2 yes. Not taking the least bit of credit from the talented speedy team they have. They are/will be a tough challenge for every team they play. The other BS though was nothing short of ridiculous.

they are the 2 time defending state champs in their league and a slect team so not really an upset at all.
