Probably some large schools in and around Houston has a 9th grade or JV B (or C) team looking for an opponent. -
Cleveland (10) @ Splendora (70) - FINAL

Cardinal Backer, UT, and Big Girl thinks this mess is just awesome. -
I agree. Manvel not as bad as they let on, and BH took damage in week 1. Closer game, BH by 14-21 sounds about right.

I have read lots of comments on social media. Everyone is worried and concerned about the players and their injuries. I have not encountered a single one mentioning the score. In three more weeks, no one will much remember that game or its score. Its all good. We can agree to disagree. PS, got a glimmer of good news regarding one of them. I don't know about the other.

A lot do work, for cash, and never pay a cent in taxes on their earnings. Then they wire a lot of that to central and south America. Meanwhile, they depend on welfare, WIC and free medical care. Thats how their underground economy works. -
I get you are trying to be funny, but you HAVE to beat up on a smaller, winless Southland conference team. You don't get anything for putting a beatdown on them and you can play dumb but you already know this. Losing or a narrow win is a disaster for TAM.
-
ND is really good team. Weigman does not appear to be the answer. Its just one game though. That said, if the TAM O does not put up 50 on McNeese (0-10 last year) next week its time to go.
-
SOC and other DFW teams struggle down around I-10. They would not be as sucessful if the State games rotated. Pretty easy to see.
-
Last night was a perfect example of what I alluded to earlier. Today, what really does the final score matter? It was as someone said, disasterous for BH. I would trade a L in that game to avoid the injuries in a heartbeat. This illustrates my point exactly.

I concur. The QB is the focus tonight.

Interesting. Not too long ago he was described as a "mentor" to an opponents coach who was described as a "mentee". -
Not much concerned with the final score either way. Aside from being involved in some long standing rivalry, I look at pre-district games as glorified scrimmages that are there to get work and refinement in. Yes I know some others do care who wins though and thats fine. If we get good work in, avoid any major injuries, and play as a team I am happy. I am surprised this game is not included in the pick ems. It includes the likes of Fairfield @ Maypearl, Joaquin vs Frankston, and Chester @ Penelope, but BH does not belong, LOL.

I'll say now what I said then, no weather excuses for anyone anywhere at anytime. -
Don't diss on Al. #33 scored 4 td's in one game for Polk high, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon (formerly of Beaumont) .
