Neither team really has had tough opponents on their schedule but Westwood has won more impressively.

This the same group that won district pretty easily on JV a couple years ago plus a few that were on varsity at the time and a few others that were still in JH. We are smaller this year especially on defense but that won't be an issue against most 3A teams. I think this team gone really turn up come playoff time especially if we can get fully healthy on defense.

I got Westwood at 2 right now but this district could go a lot of different ways. Different teams will match up differently. Can't see Diboll not being in the top 3.

Newton definitely got some young gunz on that team. Freshman running back and lots of sophomores up front. Should be really good in the future

I understand your point but I think it's pretty clear we had trouble stopping Newton's offense. Why not try an onside when we've had success with it in the past? Especially in a non district game that really doesn't count for anything other than bragging rights

The biggest issue for Woodville in this game was extra points. Newton completed most of theirs an Woodville didn't. Defense needs improvement too but that's partially because we're missing a couple guys
