1. If you have 100 kids grow up in wealthy homes with both parents and are taught skills and trades. And have positive role models. Are properly fed and sleep in a comfortable bed. Don’t witness a lot of violence are less likely to have been through traumatizing experiences. Have friends who share a similar lifestyle. 2. Then you have another group of kids who grow up in poverty. Single parent home. Dad might be dead or in jail. Mom might have a drug addiction or maybe works 24/7 so she doesn’t focus on her child the way she should. Maybe Mom and Dad are out the picture so it’s grandma. Try to get some sleep while your stomachs growling a lot of nights. Most the grown ups you look up to or see as successful play ball or live a life of crime. Everybody assumes your a bad kid by your appearance and upbringing rather that’s true or not. You witness gang violence. You may have seen someone killed at a young age. You may start to think those type of things are normal. Your surrounded by peers who share a simulate life experience. I could go on but I really don’t have the time. Although both have the power to make their own decisions #2 will produce more criminals than #1. And if you think some of those kids from #1 wouldn’t make some of the same decisions as #2 had they been in the same position your delusional. And if you think the racist history of America isn’t one of the main reasons black kids are more likely to have circumstance #2 then white kids your very delusional.

Your all over the place here but I’ll just address the last part. Yes blacks have power to make our own decisions and face the consequences but the fact is it’s easier for some to make the wrong decisions than others. Different people live in different conditions and circumstances. Fact is the racist history of America has a lot to do with the condition of blacks in America today. There’s just no way around that and if you don’t think so your delusional. Not even gone keep arguing with you about that.

Don’t believe Steve was picked because of his race. I just think he has a good relationship with the owner. If Marc Jackson is being overlooked for any personal reason it probably has more to do with his strong religious stance than his race. 3. Blacks are just better at basketball because we’re more passionate about the sport although there are exceptions. 4. don’t know much about that situation. Don’t sound like a genuine movement though. Sounds like they just wanted to do something to oppose the BLM movement. 5. Read 2 Timothy 3:12 and Mathew 5:10. Also note that Tebow was belittled but he wasn’t fined like another Muslim player who would pray when he reached the end zone

Well if you still have criminals and undertrained officers in the police force that will just leave you with more innocent lives taken

They have plenty funding that’s not being used properly already. Kenosha Police had funding for body cameras in their budget but they refused to use it for that purpose.

There are different situations for different people. You wouldn’t appreciate if police were better trained and equipped to deal with people with conditions similar to your brothers?

They should be taught every suspect is not a criminal just based off your gut feeling. And they should be taught how to detain and arrest criminals without immediately relying on your weapon. It’s understood that guns are sometimes necessary but they should be taught other techniques also so they don’t have to shoot down 1000 civilians each year. To you they may be just a criminal but that could be someone else’s family member with mental issues.

You would think they would be required to go through more training to handle “the pressure that law officers are under on a daily basis”. Nope, let’s just put em through 3 weeks training, give em a uniform/badge/gun and send them out on the streets. Makes a lot of sense. And as far as “thugs”. There are plenty of those in uniform as well.

My initial point of responding to this post was there’s no use in pointing out how how police lives matter when the judicial system has already made it very clear that police lives matter more than most. 2. Since you asked; Yes I do think it’s unfair that the legal system is more forgiving of a murderer in uniform. You can’t allow those who are supposed to uphold the law to break the law and then treat them differently then you would a regular citizen.

The difference is there’s a 99.99% chance a cop will get off and even if convicted will get it reduced to a lesser charge (manslaughter) and receive a slap on the wrist.

Is that his name? Whoever he is, I was impressed with the offense. We put up 56 before the end of the third while we never scored 50 in a game last year if my memory is correct. Not sure exactly how bad Karnes City is but I’m sure they’re better than a couple of those teams we played last year. The defense looks good as I expect but if the offense continues to play well we’ll be a little better than I expected. But the district looks like it might be a little tougher than I expected also. Very happy with the coaching staff so far though. Shoutout to Coach Robinson for making adjustments

Of course police lives matter. 90 are killed during duty each year. 40 of those are due to accidents. You kill a cop and your likely to get the chair or face life in prison at the least. Cops kill 1000 people each year. They are charged for maybe 10 of those. They are convicted in maybe 2 or 3 of the killings they are charged for. If they are convicted they’re doing 10 to 20 years at the most. Thanks for reminding us police lives matter although I think the judicial system has already made that clear

Not sure how good of an opponent Karnes City is but it seems like an impressive win. Think we may have a pretty good offensive coordinator now also.

I understand Shepherd isn’t a great team but far as I know they’ve been at least half decent the last few years compared to Kirbyville who hasn’t been any good at all really. I was more impressed by the margin then anything but like Mr. Aggies says, Shepherd only returns 2 from last year so that explains it for me. But I agree that the truth will be revealed as we get further in the season.

Am I jumping the gun or does it look like this may be a turn around season for Kirbyville judging by this game?

I was expecting a lot more out of Hardin.
