Warren has improved but that district looks like it will be tough. Newton, NW, Hemphill, and I’m guessing Warren and Anderson Shiro will compete for the last playoff spot.

Because realville and other posters and people who like to downplay the virus like to compare it to flu. It’s not instant death or anything like that but it’s much more serious than the flu and precautions need to be taken by everyone to slow the spread as much as possible.

Either way covid is more deadly than flu.

My numbers were wrong because I just guessed. I took a look at the actual numbers in Texas today and the mortality rate in Texas is actually 2%. Higher than that world wide. My apologies

I stated HF has a good team. I didn’t call it an upset because I felt EC was supposed to blow them out. I called it an upset because I feel EC would have probably found a way to win had they not been caught slipping due to the fact that HF was better than they normally are. This year EC returns more and have more motivation so yea it could get ugly if HF doesn’t come prepared to play.

HF upset them last year. No way EC lets that happen again. I do think HF has a good team this year but they’re going to have to show it or it could get ugly because I don’t see EC letting up at all.

You shouldn’t be thinking about political parties at all when talking about preserving life.

Flu mortality rate is .1%. Covid mortality rate is 1.5%. That makes Covid near 15 times more deadly than flu. I think that warrants extra precaution. Should we have went about it differently? IDK

.001 is .1%. .1 would be 10%. Going by your concept, 135000 deaths, which would be 1 when you divide it by 135000 on your calculator would be 1%. No, that would be 100%

It’s close to the same statewide. My guess is the .00044% is the total amount of deaths out of the total population and not just those who have had the virus. Out of confirmed cases it is definitely between 1 and 2 percent.

Sure Newton will still dominate their division even though they’re reloading this year but I got Jasper in this one.
