OK. WOS is just hopeless without coach T I guess

Maybe the kids just aren't buying in? Maybe there's a respect issue because of all the negative energy surrounding this coach since he was hired? I don't know but there's usually more to it than what meets the eye

It was predicted by some folks last spring. Just goes to show who was really rooting for the kids and community vs the coach. And the stangs have played worse each week since the season started. That's what negative energy will get you

How many players have left the program this season?

Not a good look for the stangs. I kinda figured before the season they could possibly lose a district game or 2 because the district is a bit tougher this year. But they've lost 3 district games now? And this one by 3 scores? This is bad. And everyone wants to get down on the coach and I agree it's a downgrade but other things have come in to play here also.

Good shutout eagles 🦅. Even nailed a 25 yard field goal tonight. Got the final district game against Westwood which may turn out to be tougher than expected. Then it's playoff time!

Other than the 8th grade group the other groups are average far as I know but when you have a good coach sometimes all you need is one good group

EC will be really strong again soon. Their 8th grade group is awesome.

Looks like Coldspring couldn't convert those swinging door 2 point conversions. After a while teams gather enough film to stop that and you might wanna try and develope a fg kicker

Maxpreps has Hitchcock up 20-7 against Columbus right now. Anahuac is up on EC right now also. Looks like it might be EC first round and Hitchcock second round

Yea Coldspring offense is pretty vanilla for the most part. That's why I was hoping for a shutout. We almost had it except for that one big run yall had

After reevaluating the game the eagles didn't play great but it wasn't bad as it seems. Although the Trojans didn't score much they were able to burn some clock in that wing T offense. Woodville had 7 offensive possessions. The last one we were content with letting the clock expire at the end of the game. So we scored on 3 of the 6 possessions we would have liked to score on. Of the 3 we didn't score on we had a unforced turnover on one and a big play called back on another. You take away that one turnover and that one penalty and we might have scored on 5 of 6 possessions. The main thing that concerns me is the special teams/ extra point situation

Columbus looks solid all across the board on both sides but I think we'd be able to get pressure on that QB

Yea Jatavian's definitely a gamer and our defense tends to come through when we need it 9 times out of ten

Columbus looks really good but I think we can beat em. Tonight's effort won't cut it though.
