No Doubt!  A well coached team in Vidor.  No Doubt a talented, but struggling to learn what the coach needs team in Crosby.

Remember PNG held that "you so called not so talented team" in Vidor to 10 points.  how did ya'll do?

You shall see when we roll 2 PNG!!!😈

I don’t actually understand what you are saying.

You said Vidor is better than Crosby. That is a false statement. Yes Crosby lost to Vidor. Vidor did not score 1 running touchdown. A better Coaching job by Vidor preparing for the game. IMO

I don’t know that we are weaker than previous seasons. I think people are equating mainstays like Nederland and Crosby being down with the district overall being down. Just because Vidor is better than Crosby or just because Nederland is not as good as BH isn’t sufficient to say the district is down — Maybe Vidor and BH are just good this year? All that aside, and to answer your question, the district is a middle of the road district most of the time. If Crosby, PNG, Nederland, and Dayton were all at strength, it would certainly be one of the most competitive in the state. But even then, we’d still be merely above average, not up there with the big dogs. But there are only ever a few big dogs. The truth that gets lost in the quest for a championship is that most teams in the state are terrible. So even though our district reps will be knocked out usually in the 2nd to 3rd round by teams that totally outclass us, that’s because the top is a crowded place. We talk down on our local teams too much.  And I know people will say i’m celebrating mediocrity - i’m not. I’m acknowledging the success we have in the quest to overcome mediocrity. There’s a difference, for sure. State is the goal, but the journey is part of it.

Vidor is not in a conversation w/ CROSBY! DO you watch games or sores? Crosby needs work... Our worst games have teams on the ropes. #Stay tuned

PNG by 21... that’s what they said about Vidor. Maybe the Indians aren’t THAT good this year? Y’all should get used to it and adjust your predictions accordingly.

Facts! PNG nearly lost to a not so talented very well Coached Vidor team.

Ok...the coaches run an 8th grade style offense. When the QB drops back to pass, we don’t always have to throw it 40-50 yards downfield. Apparently, the receivers have a low probability of catching that deep pass this year. The 2nd half, it looked like they worked on the short passes and that helped.  We can’t run the QB to death either.  That kid looked wore out in the 3rd quarter.  Hopefully, there will be a change at QB soon and Dunn can assume his RB role.  This will give the offense a whole new look.

You are CORRECT SIR! Thankyou for being spot on point!😉  Why go for the hailmary on 1st nd ten... With 09:59 seconds in the 1st qt??? We have other options offensively which showed Friday Night... We are talent wise THE BEST TEAM in our district... We shall see next week... I stand behind the Coaching Staff nd we wiil prevail You are a true Cougar Fan!!! We are family for life #GO COOG'S

Congrats to crosby for getting off the matt, but we really cant put much into this win because dayton is baaaadddd!!! crosbys offense is 8th grade level at best.

The offense need's improvement I agree. However we have a talent pool that exceeds 8th graders That is an insult to the kids. Be more specific on what is the problem.
