  1. Based on the way the other games went, probably should not be counting WW out. Looks like EC District is the weaker of the two by a great margin.
  2. You really dont understand the Slot T. The only position where the Slot T benefits from a large OL is Strong Tackle. The rest of the positions rely on quickness and precision. There is no "pass blocking" with 8 in the box. Pass pro in the Slot T relys upon deception. I will be willing to bet the 1 dimensional offense works well for Franklin, Liberty Hill and Bellville tonight. Shepherds' version looked pretty good last night. OF had no chance from the start against Woodville. OF was completely out-manned.
  3. According to the folks on here, that would not be a problem with Bellville having a "weak" district.
  4. They could go with Carthage and Center like last time.
  5. Looks like we can see which District was tougher.
  6. DCTF showing this one 22-0 Shepherd
  7. People are funny. Anything less than WOS win against an inferior Bellville team will be considered a major failure.
  8. Awesome. WOS is the favorite. Bellville will have to play above their heads to get a win.
  9. No surprises in this one. Great season for Nederland but it is over now.
  10. Good luck with the RT from Lake Creek.
  11. Go ahead and count WOS out of this one.
  12. Maybe teams are tired of having no chance to win a State Championship because all roads end at Carthage.
  13. I saw this from Padilla. I have only seen 3A1 and 3A2
  14. Mock alignment has Woodville going down and out with Franklin moving over and replacing them.
  15. Bellville is winning this game.
  16. Understood. Porter shot themselves in the foot for 3 QTRs and then finally played the way they were capable. See how that works? All you can go by is who won the game.
  17. 100%. Porter kept 3 DL with little blitzing which kept the OL in a "5 on 3" and required minimal effort on their part. In the run game BH OL was unable to move Porter DL and get to LBs. Porter NG probably gave up 100 lbs to every BH lineman.
  18. Porter did play a "great" game. Games are determined based upon the cumulative results of 4 QTRs. Well done, Porter.
  19. To me, the greatest issue for BH was on the OL. BH had very large OL but seemed to be lacking on fitness and athleticism. BH OL had hands on hips after the first drive and were not able to do much with Porter DL despite an overwhelming size advantage. The 3rd TD by BH was a long throw and (as you indicated) BH did miss a few long throws, but Porter also missed some long throws that were open as well. So, looking objectively, I would not look at the "deep throw" as being the issue. ***I have not seen a single game this year with "good" officiating. There is no such thing as "home cooking" from officials and Porter could point to some no calls/bad calls as well including a late hit on the QB well out of bounds. Officials do not reside in specific school districts and are compiled from all across the region.
  20. Absolutely amazing victory by Porter. Unbelievable fight till the end.
  21. Wow, I left at 21-0 BH. Cant believe it!
  22. Porter is completely unable to cover #1 for BH. Seems like a matter of time until he breaks it open.
  23. Porter ran power and BH DE #5 pancaked the G. #1 for BH is having it his way.
