Did a little research on the Splendora coach. He has a slightly worst record than the Vidor coach. So advantage goes to Vidor. Prediction will come later!
And will never, NEVER, reach 100 wins.

I don't like that matchup for HF.
Easy dub for whoever plays La Marque.
My initial thought was the exact same as yours.

Both teams gotta play in it.
Only one has to travel in it. One has (usually) nice home facilities and the other is thrown in a visitor "locker room"

I always feel like bad weather impacts the road team more

Let’s be honest. Numbers mean nothing. A strong small EC or Newton team could easily beat people in 4a or 5a. Loving the excuses though. Typical
Whoa whoa whoaaa......Who could EC or Newton beat in 5a consistently? What district could they join and have consistent success? Im sure the coaches at both of those schools wouldnt mind being in 5a and keeping the same numbers they have, right?

I think that’s exactly what he’s saying. Let’s use the transitive property of hs football for a minute for a fun little exercise.
Huffman beats Liberty soundly.
Splendora beats Liberty on a last second FG.
Liberty rolls Livingston.
Popular opinion on the board says Liberty is not a playoff team. So if you think Splendora is a playoff contender then yes, other than HHHS, the district is weeeeeaaaaaakkkk.
(Not that I believe a word of that but it was fun to type)
The following property: If a = b and b = c, then a = c.
weak = weak and weak = weak then weak = weak

Yes. No teams in this district are good, again. All of the schedules have been very easy and that is why these teams always get that wake up call IF they make it to the second round against the DOD.

Lumberton 34-21

although i don’t disagree here are my thoughts:
LCM is old school, this may cost them a game.
Huffman, if they play physical defensively, don’t turn the ball over and get a couple stops, can out score everyone in the district.
Lumberton will never be out of a game due to their style of play. If Huffman and LCM get a two score lead on them, they’re style could cost them.

what word?
bottom line people let simple words bother them way too much now days.
should people be held responsible for their speech..... yes
people call people names to make them upset. if you let that person make you upset with simple words then they have won.
people look for things to be offended/upset about just so they can play the victim and get attention.
todays world teaches people to be a society of victims.
Have you thought that maybe they are victims and this terminology is only one example of that?

I cant believe so many people get offended by simple words.
What happened to sticks and stones may break my bones but word will never hurt me..........
Is that a word you throw around often?

District is here: How will this district unravel?
Alphabetical - Bridge City (1-3) , Huffman (5-0), LCM (2-2) , Livingston (2-2). Lumberton (3-1), Splendora (3-1)
-
PNG 42-21

I think Huffman wins in a close one.
question, will this decide the district title?
or does somebody like LCM or splendora beat the winner of this?

Check my math.
7 years of coaching - 26 W’s (that can’t be accurate can it?)
multiply these numbers by 3 to get 21 years under his belt.
26 W’s times 3 equals 78. (Make sure you carry the 1)
May take him 28 plus or minus a year.
