Really good event. Some good basketball and most matchups seemed pretty even.

The game itself wasn’t bad. Hitchcock made a lot of great shots and New Waverly struggled on their jump shooting. Both played good defense, just one team was just better at contested shooting that day.

I have only seen the 3A region teams and I think New Waverly wins their semifinal and I predict a very close game with Hitchcock but their size giving Hitchcock issues. New Waverly wins Region.

Should be a good one. I plan to go watch as well.

This will be a good game. Having coached against both teams I give the edge to Orangefield. Their depth and offensive weapons give them the edge.
