Was a great battle, lots of growing up from this one for sure. Credit to EC for being who they are as a program with great coaching they wouldn’t go away no matter how many times we got up 15. 3A is loaded with good teams and D1 will be wide open. Onalaska gauntlet of a schedule rolls on with Hitchcock and Central Heights Thursday in tournament action.

Was 4 point game with 1.5 minutes left. Great atmosphere.

They tried to do matchups as best they could based on input from some coaches I’m assuming like Southerland etc to rank Texas teams with Louisiana teams and go as many good on good as they could. Our matchup wasn’t bad and gave us some good stuff to see. Loved how physical they let us play. Very well ran. Some schools just had some bad matchups athletically and size wise. I think our matchup with Alexandria was really good. Made us a lot better as no one on our schedule is that big and that athletic. Westwood will be athletic but they don’t have that size.

Onalaska 103 Wells 24 Wells sadly didn’t have their best player. No pressing after 3 minutes into game and ran clock entire second half.

Sorry I didn't watch any of the other games. West Fork looked really good in the two games we saw them play. Looking forward to playing them at the Tarkington tourney after Christmas.

True some districts they have to make up since some coaches don’t submit any info or votes.

All-district a lot of times is coaches in their feelings. We got hosed last year lost 1 game in district and win district championship but because of how we played we got penalized. We had 1 superlative (a team that didn’t make the playoffs got the defensive mvp superlative). And I didn’t come close to winning coach of the year. All stuff the kids and I still remember and will make sure shows up come district time.

The district picks are 100% voted on by the coaches in the district themselves. They take the average place for each team and then seed from there. So the majority of your opposing coaches in your district agree with you all winning district and for good reason. @Cu Chulainn

The picks I turned in I have Trinity and Crockett flipped. I think Trinity is the toughest competition in the district.

No way we should go D1 again. Shouldn’t have last year. Trinity is legit and loaded with juniors who are studs. The new coach will have them in playoffs this year.

Westwood has the best roster on paper no one will argue that. But there are lots of good teams in the region. I selfishly predict Onalaska vs Westwood in Regional final game and it should be a rematch game as Onalaska will be traveling to Westwood in December which will likely be a matchup of two top 5 teams when they meet if not 1 vs 2.
