  1. Texas goes with a very strong Cole Green tonight for the National Championship......LSU counters with there star in Renaudo, Not sure why the LSU fans think they can score 9 on this #1 pitching staff in the country. What a series, the only advantage i see is Texas has Augie, and he has won a few NC already. Texas 5 LSU 2 HOOK'EM.........
  2. LHP where you been Roughnecks in first place dude.
  3. I will give the Tigers credit they are good and they can swing it, but the pitching is not as good as Texas has faced in the CWS. Texas has to tighten up the defense and continue to bring out the pitching that produces a 2.81 team era for the year. Texas in 3 HOOK'EM!!!!
  4. That was sweet.......should be a great final. LSU, you ask for it and you got it.......... HOOK'EM!!!!
  5. Thanks Kip, Who says Cubs and Bears can't get along!!!!
  6. Thanks Admin, he actually played golf with his Nederland buddy yesterday Laird. That is one funny kid, I really enjoyed getting to know him.
  7. Signed with UT-PanAM in 2006 played his freshman yr before transferring to Angelina, redshirted last year due to arm surgery and returned this year playing MIF for the RR. He is excited about playing for Coach Puhl knowing all of the experience and success he has had in the big leagues. Great opportunity and a really great place. A few BC boys are already there in Derrick Coleman-2b and Darly Stevens-RHP
  8. Well small ball or long ball does not matter, it's the "W" that matters, everyone talks about the LSU power game but here is a good stat for you, LSU has scored 18 runs in 2 games and Texas 17. By the way how about the 6'6 freshman from Texas with 2 wins already in the CWS.
  9. The old saying "be careful what you wish for, you just might get it" for the LSU fans that want the "overrated" Longhorns Hook'em
  10. WOW!! I know a few scouts and it was always very obvious what they thought about this guy.
  11. Texas had Brandon Belt-Lufkin Hudson 5th round -SF, and then Austin Wood 2 picks later. Lamar had 3 chosen. Today should bring a local or two.
  12. You overlook Rice and you won't need to worry about Texas my friend..........
  13. NAIA? Interesting information for scholarships: DIV 1 - 11.7 DIV 2 - 9 DIV 3 - 0 NAIA- 12
  14. I know Coach Crouch has done a great job in getting a few area coaches, 2 from Orangefield and I think 2 from WOS can anyone confirm the entire staff now. The Coach Pevey hiring is a really good one he is a very energetic coach that was responsible for a majority of the 7 on 7 success. I hope he can do the same at LCM.
  15. Question is? Is this the Brand new Angelina Roadrunner field? If so this is a really nice field and no one has played on it yet, you will be first, grass laid down about 2 months ago, seats cut out of a hill and plenty of area on top of the hill overlooking the field, if not then not a good place for a playoff game, field is hard and fence is terrible down the lines.
  16. Or 105 all the way to conroe then hit the loop around 336 and back on 105
  17. Saturday night 8pm vs San Jacinto @ Blinn.
  18. Look for Shon to sign a Free Agent contract as soon as the McNeese season is over, then he will be headed to rookie ball.
  19. Alvin is traveling to Lufkin for a warm up DH against Angelina on Sunday. 2 7 inning games at 1pm.
  20. Bossier and Northeast split Sunday so if my math is correct that gives NE 14 losses, today they face Navarro and if they split it is over. If they sweep Navarro than we have to complete the LM game with us up 10-2 in the 7th. Angelina 14-13 NE 12-14
  21. What about the DH between NE and BP?? Also LHP you should be getting a call this week from Loving of the KY league.
  22. Just spoke to the radio station and the link will be back up before the games.
  23. Have you heard from Loving about the Karl Young league yet? If not I will call him.
  24. Texarkana swept Paris yesterday to basically wrap up 4th for Angelina with 4 to play. Angelina leads a rainout with LM 12-3 and Paris is loosing 8-3 in the rainout to Tex. so we could assume 14-10 and 10-14 with Angelina holding the tie breaker over Paris per Coach Livin.
