Lumberton - Chase McDonald named AD/HC

But did he have it when he was first hired to be AD/HFC at OF or did he obtain after he got the job? -
You must never have watched this guy call offense. Even at WB he had a tight end on the field majority of the time and then at LCM played w/ 2 tight ends a lot and was run heavy. Everyone thinks the spread is Air Raid. In reality the base of it is spread triple option. Breaux has shown his offense is adaptable year to year based on his personnel.
-
Or maybe this guy wasn't well known and Breaux has shown success locally and people know more about him than they got from a couple interviews.
-
Doesn't Breaux have state game experience?
-
If its the guy Im thinkin of, believe he spent time at Mcneese & Henderson. Guy knows his stuff.
-
Do you know who the finalist are? If not how can you say they haven't had success and been to state before?
-
This one got quiet

Always interested in how people define the "spread". If you look at modern "spread offenses" it's just a "spread version of triple option.

I agree with that. Goals are different than expectations. Good point. -

I remember people saying PNG had a ceiling and wouldn't be able to beat teams like FBM but here they are in Dallas again. Not saying OF is PNG, just saying it's all about the standard thats instilled in the team and community. -

Let’s stop the “Orangefield don’t have those type of kids” when every year we watch state championship games and some teams look like Orangefield. Orangefield has tough, decently athletic kids most years and should be disciplined. Also maybe you hire a guy that is great hire, doesn’t want to coach at a big school, and wants to raise his family in a great community. Even it means not getting paid as much. -
BC did not opt up.

Agreed. District is definitely not hurting for money. Probably best overall facilities in SETX and have all the chem road money plus the giant check they got from CP. -
Well one of the programs just finished a season where for the 1st time in school history had 3 winning seasons in a row and made the playoffs all 3 years while all the while returning 95% of the roster. The other was the winningest program in Texas by % and has had back to back losing seasons. Tough question to answer though.

Smalley great guy and coach and has done a great job at OF. Why so negative on Prouse? Your kids play for him?
-
HJ will get the nod. They got a guy in the UIL.
-
But he did play in playoff games & state championship as a freshman. Idk anything about the kid this year, must be a dog though.
