What trick plays are you referring to? You mean the option, that's been a part of our offense for years. The only trick play was on the punt at the beginning of the game. We have to be able to hit an open WR.

GCM did a hand off, which the rb lateralled back to #8...the only playmaker GCM has. Wouldnt have mattered anyways....LR couldnt make a comeback no matter what. -
GCM will win this game. Very sloppy game on both parts.

LR does have depth at all positions...and the offense is definitley being ran with an open playbook. I could pick out the starting QB in warm up by the way he threw, but come game time I guess the pressure had him a little bothered. Obviously they just need some more time, and they will begin to click. They will not be a pushover this year for sure.

I just watched LR scrimmage BC. They look rusty, they definitley have talent at QB and RBs, but just couldnt put anything together against the cards.

LRs offense couldnt produce but only 2 first downs. BCs defense looks in sync and LR is not firing on all cylinders.

Took LRs defense a little time to get used to BCs QB "who is a 1 man show" but LR defense ended up getting the best in their first outing. They now run the 3-4 defense with some big linemen and 4 quick LBs.

Well I get here in time to catch BCs last 2 plays before switching to Defense....their QB made it look easy with 2 35yd TD passes to a wide open receiver.

I see that its in BC starting at 6pm. Thats right around the corner from my work right about the time I get off. Im gonna go ahead and go check it out and let yall know how they look.

Well said! This is how any screen is designed, the QB needs to zip the ball to the receiver QUICK! The screen pass (many diff kinds) is a great play if executed the way intended. If you have a strong elusive receiver then why not put the ball in his hands and let him make a play? For the OP, if you think the bubble screen sucks, then chances are whoever you see running the play is doing it wrong!
