Seems like a hater on the board lol, lumberton basketball program has made big strides. I don’t know how good they will be this year but if some are talking about Lumberton maybe competing for a district title then that has to be a first so the coach must be doing something right.

Y’all are sleeping on BC and LCM they have a lot back from last year. Lumberton lost 5 key guys. Don’t know much about vidor or OF.

He’s a good coach but let’s be honest here he had 2 move-ins who helped that team a lot!!! What would have they done without those move-ins??

What games did Fannett lose in district last year ?

Fannett and Huffman will be battling it out for district ship this year!!!! Both teams will be loaded!!

They were fun to watch!!! No doubt about that, Lumberton did beat Fannett twice last year that should hold some weight.

Lumberton lost some key players from last year so they could be down, Fannett has had ton of move ins the last 2 years. I think both are really good coaches who gets the most out of their players.

Barrett is a really good coach!! I totally forgot about him and Clay Davis!! also you have to consider which programs these coaches took over and what type of athletes/basketball players they are coaching. I think Jeffcoat has made playoffs once or twice at LCM as a Head Coach but I’m not really sure, would have to do some research on that end, I just know he’s been at LCM for a while and he’s a good coach.

I think you need to have Jeffcoat on the list and Coach Smith from PNG but it’s a pretty good list.

Seems like hardin only makes the playoffs when LH was the head coach.

Should be a lot of fun games this year with no tourneys I’m sure people are playing people that really wouldn’t normally play!! Can’t wait to the schedules.

Nope, just crazy they run Coach Pavliska out and now Haynes. Those are 2 great coaches that Hardin has now ran off.

He has won at Hardin which a tons of coaches can’t do!!! His resume doesn’t lie, they go 1-9 Haynes makes playoffs 2007-2008, then they were what 2-8 then Haynes comes and takes over they make the playoff again. Seems to me the board and sup don’t see eye to eye. This will be the 8th year serving as AD/Head Football Coach at Hardin High School. Coach Haynes has lead the Hornets to it's only 3 championships in 75 years. 2 Bi-District Championships (2007-08) and 1 District Championship as the QB of the 1974 team. Coach Haynes has won more games than any other coach in it's 75 year storied history. Coach Haynes will begin his 37th year in the coaching profession and his 25th as a Head Coach. He has a Head Coaching record of 161 wins and 104 losses - 3 Ties, 5 District Championships, and 8 Area Finalists. He has also been "Coach of the Year" 10 times and was also chosen as a "NFL High School Coach of the Year Award Nominee" in 2003, the highest award a High School coach can receive. Hardin in 2006, 2-8, Haynes takes over they go 9-3 the next year. 2016 Hardin 0-10, 2017-Haynes takes over they go 4-6 and then 2018 7-4.
