Come on now. Of all the things that get discussed on this board, you're telling me that a coaches seemingly strange way of motivating her players is off limits. Are you a parent of a kid? Have you met with the Coach? Seems a little shortsided to me. Bag what is your take on it? No, I'm not a parent of a kid. Just heard this and it seemed a little strange to me. I'll be the first to admit that I don't know a whole lot about softball, but I enjoy reading the posts of the people who do. I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts on this were.

I've heard that on at least 2 occasions over the last 2 or 3 weeks the girls have had to turn in their uniforms and have tryouts to make the team. This seems like a really strange way to run a team that is 7-1 and tied for 1st place in District.

I didn't see any trouble at all after the game. The Cleveland players and coach all showed good sportsmanship, as did BH. So where did this comment come from. Bronco/Cat Fan posted, "Barbers Hill beat Cleveland for the championship. Don't remember the exact score. Cleveland fans were out of hand. Lots of police presence deterred things from getting worse. Cleveland players were even mouthing to BH fans after the game. Poor conduct from Cleveland group." So where did this comment come from.

Nederland lost by 4. Way too many turnovers.

After trailing by 18 at the half, Nederland had their chances to win it. They went up by three, but Cleveland shot a three with about 4 sec. left, missed, but got the rebound and the same kid hit the three to send it to OT.
