Is he not the younger brother of current LU player and Aggie transfer Billy Chavis? 

Last I heard was that there was a possibility Mayweather would not take the fight for (1) tax reasons, postponing until next spring or (2) possibility his uncle Roger might be facing jail time.  Roger who lost his title in Beaumont 20 years or so ago, helps train Floyd, Jr.  Hope they do get things ironed out, but somehow I doubt it.

Kessler pulled out the decision in the last round or two.  You are right, very good and competitive fight. I thought Adamek won by 3 or 4 points, just outboxed Arreola.  Arreola's injured arm really hampered him down the stretch. 

Does anyone know exactly how many of these players have actually signed to come to Lamar?  Darius Harris signed a LOI on local TV, but do we know if anyone else has actually put their name on paper to come here are are these just verbal commits as of now?

See it announced out of Austin this morning that Ben Wells will be transferring at the end of the spring semester.  Any chance he might come back to Lamar? 

sounds like improvement, but would still like to know who will be back.  If the two young men from Pflugerville who redshirted last year aren't back, then it doesn't seem likely to me that their buddy Demetris Smith will be here. 

Did the inside player from LSC-PA sign with James Madison?  He could have helped us at the other end of the county, but I believe he was going to James Madison according to a report I saw.  Ahyaro Phillips.
