  1. It's gonna be a long off season if this continues
  2. Both Hooks and Thompson won 2 in the 1st 7 years. Took Barbay 23 years at Newton.
  3. I too suffer from leg cramps, just like my dad. I'm gonna try that one and I'll let you know if it's really mind over matter. Another thing I've been told is for hiccups. Say the word cow and it'll stop. Sometimes it does. But when it doesn't, I resort to saying calf, bull, Longhorn, beef, brisket, t bone, filet mignon. The trick is you have to believe.
  4. "I laughed too. No losses to Vidor last year." You got me with the conditioning though. It really has nothing to with it. Or does it? Aggies knows what's up. Look P-nole. No offense taken. It's all in fun. Much respect to "East Beaumont". Again just jokes. Don't take things too serious. Hope to see a good scrimmage from yall again next August. Good luck.
  5. That almost sounds like a plan to steal some talent. Back on topic... alot of support for a WOS alum returning home
  6. I Laff 2. No Ls? WhiLe I have the fLoor, I'LL say it's been cLean for a Long time. Been mopping yaLL up for years. WeLL, before they switched to scrimmages.
  7. The website is still active. Congrats to these coaches. [Hidden Content]
  8. Yes, so did I, but some didn't. One parent told me a back in 2020... "Coach T came to watch my son Thursday night. I told him if he isn't gonna start as a freshman, we'll move to LCM." I immediately interrupted him... "Wt* are you crazy?!? You don't make demands to Coach T. Especially with Gales pushing to be WOS all time rushing leader. Plus, do you have any idea what Crouch is doing over there? Don't mess it up for your boy before he gets the chance to shine." It's absolutely crazy what parents will do. He made the right decision last summer. Will he make another this spring when the announcement is made? Kid's nice and should be starting next fall. Future WRS winner. Depending on what happens next.
  9. Is LCM open district? If so, they don't need a mailbox.
  10. Yes, there was some people against Coach T back when he got the job. Some of them I saw celebrating at NRG and AT&T. Then back to blaming him the last few years. A coworker asked, "Why would parents move kids to LCM if they hire Toby? Seems like they'd rather move to Bmt or PA." Good question, but I have no answer. Anyone?
  11. His list comes from here, 33. [Hidden Content] BTW, coach @Reagan lol I saw a kid from Killeen shoemaker score a TD for Baylor last night. So Toby can still get kids to next level without a winning championships. [Hidden Content]
  12. Hope it's not always like that
  13. Most definitely. Coach T is a very humble man. I've heard him state in interviews that he's only the LB coach. And that he has to give credit to his staff for the defensive performance of his teams. But we know better. If he was lawyer, he'd be the best DEFENSE attorney in the land.
  14. Question... Do the NFL teams pay for the police security in and around the stadium on game day? Or is it funded by the taxpayers?
  15. Wishing everyone a successful, healthy, happy new year.
  16. I have alot of respect for the other perennial powerhouse of the area. But how's newton's coach been working out? Remember 70-0 when he first came down for a game. I only say this because the people I know from Newton claim they'll never be the same program after WT. Same could be said for us. Only time will tell. And to whoever said something about genetics... there will always be athletes here. It's the coaching that makes the difference. Just ask LCM
