I have no "Dog" in this fight but I side with Faircloth on this one. No need to take a knee. It's a choice. When I was coaching I have used the time to call kids over to the sideline to discuss the next play. However a couple of times, when I knew the injuries were severe immediately, I walked out on the field and had my players take a knee. Look, its football. Kids are going to get hurt. I don't want my players taking a knee every time another kid goes down. JMO. Really no right or wrong...

Oh, and we were caught climbing out our hotel window and running around on the roof of the hotel at the same time as the above mentioned trip. But we could not record it on our pagers!!! lol that's all we had back in those days!

In was a player at PNG and got caught drinking on a school trip along with 4 other athletes and some other kids. We all got 2 weeks in ISS. We were not allowed to participate in extra curricular activities for those 2 weeks. But Friday at 3:00 we were eligible. Played in a baseball tournament that weekend. I think the punishment should fit the crime. I don't know all the details in this case. I'll just say I'm sure they learned their lesson!

I have seen both teams play also.
Vidor in 03' and Nederland in 10', If they have the refs from 08' it will be a close game!!!!

Why are so may Nederland fans upset with Vidor calling us their rival? We should take that as a compliment. To me I would not care if any of the other teams in the district called us their rival either. Yes, PNG is our big rival. But I believe one sided rivalries are more of a measuring stick for the other team. Or respect for the football team that Nederland puts on the field year in and year out. But as head coach you don't tell your players that. You call it a rivalry!! Let's face it, for Vidor to make the playoffs they have to beat the "Big 4". (Central, Livingston, PNG and Nederland) So they could all be a Challenge, Measuring stick or Rivalry or whatever they want to call it. Calling Nederland doesn't bother me a bit. Yeah they were out coached , I liked our offense before. I'm not going to another game until we start throwing the ball again . Yea , We ran the ball alright but now there is game film on us . The coach is acting like he has no confidence in this team. He went to that offense to keep the losses respectable for us. That my friends is giving up on your players

That, my friend, is not giving up. That is smart coaching. If you know you don't have the talent and athletic players you used to have then you go to a slower, more ball controlled type offense. It minimizes the time your opponent has to score. Any moron knows this. Would you rather spread it out, sling the ball around and have 3 and outs? Using up 20 seconds a possesion!!! Whatever your job is stick to it! You would su*k at coaching! Pay your $5 to get into the game, cheer on the team and Coach Credeur! It was he and your talented athletes that got Raider fans excited about going back to games again on Friday night. Also, it's just the first game!!! Relax, I think Coach C has earned a little support in L-town. Be patient. Good Luck Raider fans. I hope y'all win the rest of your games....except on Oct.21!!!! -
Just ask Craig who he's playin' on his schedule and play them the following week. Then you will see how you measure up.
Lufkin,Tyler Lee, Katy, Eisenhower...And they would do away with Ozen and Central if the Bald man would let them.
Not saying WB has the toughest schedule... Just believe you got to get better teams on the schedule. However, if you need W's and enjoy the local rivalries, then play them all. PNG, Ozen, Central, Nederland....It will save on gas. -
I give Nederland a much better chance this year than last year. I think the diffrence will be within 7pts.
