    Well I am just going to say that in my opinon running to the center of someones feild and jumping on their school mascot is very direspectful! This is frowned apon by me and dont don't know how you all feel about it but its just down right disrespectful in my opinon. Now calling any one "Jungle Monkeys" thats uncalled for. I agree they were in the wrong but show some sort of sportsmanship and let it go yall one and yall one by alot. On the point of running the score up they can't help that the teams Defense wasnt prepared enough to play with Kirbyvilles JV offense. Now does everyone see that Kirbyville is ready for any team that is thrown at them.

    REALLY DEPENDS ON WHICH DEWEYVILLE TEAM SHOWS UP!!  Kountze has been pretty consistant all year.  Gotta go with the Lions, 28 - 14 over the Pirates. 

    Which Deweyville team are you talking about the slow one, weak one, or the unathletic one????

    jrrd2010 If you or just trying to disrespect Deweyville you need to go some where else because you really do not know what you are talking about.

    Deweyville is not slow, they are surely not weak, and they have some very good athletes, It is not there fault there head coach will not put them in a position to be successfull. This same team won district 2 years ago on the JV level under different coaching. So if you bad mouth some one do it to the coaching staff not to the athletes That want to win. "Just my opinion" .

    you are correct 4410 this group of kids were undefeated in youth ball 7-3 and 9-1 in Junior high and undefeated JV Champs the only change from then until now is the coaching.

    If this team ran a power football set they would be unstopable, so yes it can be the coaching.

    Claude where your going wrong is blaimin a coach. Think about that its not the coaches faught. He is coaching his team just like everyone else its just they dont have the talent this year man.

    Someone needs to look at the difficulty of schedule that Shelbyville has.  they beat up on district 19-1A for the first 3 weeks of the season. Huntington the following week which would be a speed bump for kville, and then there is trinity, their last matchup.  give me a break!  Either your the village idiot or you really dislike kville!

    Agreed man your Right. I think he is just trying to start an up roar.

    wildcats at 4-0

    off- balanced with great exp. with hazelwood a 3 yr starter and throwing to 3 yr starter musgrove .jackson and rhodes compliment each other in backfield,need another receiving threat other than musgrove though so i give us an 8 because of the score at any time capability we have..

    def- getting better last 2 games pass defense is better,still need to improve on play action and screen passes so until then a 6.5

    Yea I agree with you on the offense but its improving. Now on they need another passin threat your sadly mistaken because Hughey is forming a geed receiver. The defense looks pretty solid to me holding people to shut outs and to 6 points. You need to rethink that 6.5 that crazy!!

    Remember, this game has been moved to Silsbee....It's also Ktz's homecoming.

    I am willing to bet that this is probably one of if not the biggest stadium these two teams have played in in quite some time, if not ever. Tiger Stadium with a capacity of 10,000, do you think it will be full for the Lions homecoming? ;D

    Does Koutnze and Deweyville even have a population of 10,000 people combined????

    I would be surprised if they had a combined population of 1,000. lol But really I doubt they come close to filling that Stadium.

    Are you from SE Texas?  All of SE Texas is mosiquito infested. Come Friday night let they players play the game and then the questions of whose slow, weak and non athletic will be answered.

    Man look I was a little harsh on D-ville my bad. I am just stating facts. They dont have the best team this year. Their playoff apperances were 2005 and 2006 do you look to see that this year? They just arent a well rounded team this year.

    only jasper has even come close to beating them. they need a competitive district game to come along before the Newton game IMO

    Well in my personal opinion I think Kirbyville will do just fine but you are right they need a game with some one good. Newton will be hard to beat if they go in thinking there gonna beat them like they have these other teams in their district because none of them match up to Newton.

    Just to add a little more significance...

    Barring an upset along the way Curtis Barbay will enter week 10 with 299 career wins.

    This will be an upset if Kirbyville comes in head strong. They have a good team this year and there passin game has improved. With that i think Kirbyville will overcome them by a touchdown. (Just an opinion)
