    Buna is a decent team, but I think alot of people, including players talk to much trash. They start thinking they are better than everyone. I guess you do start feeling that way considering you really havent played anyone that has really been very competitive. I would have more respect for Buna if they would play teams that are better than they are and win! Thats how you earn respect! Until then, its all talk.

    Just my opinion.

    Totally agree but you have to give Buna some respect they hve earned enough to not be talked down apon every team gets a little cocky they cant help they have played less talented teams.

    When Jasper almost beat K Ville, I knew then that Newton would take care of the cats. That game was so emotional due to the rivalry.The Newton and K Ville game will be 10 XS more emotional. If Newton plays all (4 Quarters) they will take care of business.

    What about the Diboll game? Didn't Newton lose to them, while K-ville won?

    Exactly..oh but what is the excuse for that? Newton's just not that good this year..and its ok. Everyone has their off year, and this year jut might be the one. ::)

    Well lets hope that Kville wins after all this trash talk that we have been talkin. Cause that would sure be a boot in the mouth wouldnt it.

      If the cougs going in the game thinking they already have it, they will lose!  If they go in looking for a fight, they will win!  I do believe it will be a good test for the cougs and hopefully they will keep their head in the game!

      Hope the coaches can keep them from getting to much of a big head.  I really would hate to see them lose because of not giving Hardin their Due.  Do not judge all of Buna by a few running off.  No game is won till the last blow of the whistle,  Any team can be beat on any Given night!

    I agree but Buna has the better team but think has Buna been tested against any of their opponents yet They will have to keep their heads together. But do you really think Hardin will be any different than their other games??

    Never know...anyone can be beat on any given day. You know..we werent suppose to beat Jasper 3 years in a row either, nor were we suppose to beat Silsbee, nor Bridge City, but we have, so you never know..stranger things have happened. Kirbyville just might surprise ya!!! Hope so at least..:P

    Agreed that anyone can be beat but lets hope its not The Ville any time soon! Maybe next year.

    Newton wins this by 2 tds if they will play all 4 quarters. That's what happend to the eagles in the diboll game. They had a good size lead but just seemed to give it up toward the end. This game will be very emotional as well. The eagles for the 1st time in a few yrs are not ranked in the top 25 and they have a statement to make against the #1 team. K Ville at most is ranked #5 or 6 in the state in my opinion.

    Go Eagles (Newton wins this one 35-21)

    Yall are just all mad because the Egales wont be able to hang this year!

    You People need to get a clue. If you think You can  do a better job than those guys on the Field, Get a Degree and put Your Job in the hands of a 15-18 year old. I know coaches all over Texas and no staff in the state puts in more hours than those guys. I bet you don't work 100 or more hours a week. I would love to Sit back and watch them critique you at your job, and then on Monday read what they have to say about you on some website. 

    I cant agree more. I remember growing up thinking some coaches were such jerks. Now as an adult I realize that hey, when he gets on to you for "plain grab a--", it's because his paycheck is on the line. When the team loses and he gets fired, he has to look for a job and if he's lucky enough to find one, then he's gotta move his family, etc. These guys are under tremendous amounts of stress. Coaching "youth" sports is stressful enough, but if you lose you don't lose your livelihood. You still gotta "real" job monday morning.

    I do agree in some parts but they know what they are going to school for. What could happen if they are not good at what they do. So they know from the get go what they are getting into. If your not good at your job is your employer going to keep you there???

    It is funny! Three of the opponents they have played have combined to win ONE game!!!!!LOLOLOLOL And another one has two wins!!!

    EXACTLY!!! Thats what I've been talking about ;) Please. Buna wouldnt last 2 minutes against WOS.,,thats whats so funny about all of it...LOLOLOLOL!!! How about Buna play WOS next year in their PreSeason like we do. Heck we had to play them in district for cryin out loud. lol

    If you would have read what I wrote I never said Buna could beat WOS I was comparing them on a statistical level.  Three years ago Buna was in that district.  Buna has beat Kountze 4wins Deweyville 4wins Warren 2wins and sure the other three only have 1 win combined but you cant control how many games other teams win.  K-ville did't play WOS either this year so you cant talk on that one but would have been nice for that game to have happen.  K-ville has great stats also but to bad would not get to see Buna and K-ville play in the playoffs cause that would be a game to see.

    Well you might get what you wish for. If Buna wins out and and Kville does to and Kville wins first round then we will most likely play Buna. Someone feel free to correct me if im wrong...

    Having dropped a classification this season, would't Kirbyville be the DI school out of their district?  Is Buna the DI school in their

    district?

    Im not sure that was just hear say. Just what people were saying. I sure hope so. Both of these teams have some trash talking teams. I would have to pull for Kville if it happened though.
